I want this review to be for the Clippert/Frandor location. I was at work one day and damn near chopped the side of my thumb off on a meat slicer. It was barely attached by a small flap of skin. I quickly wrapped some towel around it and rushed myself to LUC. After waiting some time and thinking chances were good that I'd be loosing part of my thumb, I was seen by a PA named Adam. He cleaned my wound and assured me we would try and save the thumb. He carefully installed 8-10 stitches around the tip of my thumb, holding it in place. He essentially had to graft a chunk of my thumb back on. After following his simple instructions for care and going in for a follow up several weeks later, it had healed back up. Here I am 10 months later and I have almost full feeling back and I use/rely on that thumb for my work every day. I am so thankful for the team at Lansing Urgent Care for saving a part of me that I will be reminded of every day for the rest of my life. read more

NEVER going back! The front desk associates were not helpful at all. They acted annoyed to have a client with very few on their scheduled board list. The medical staff was good and quick. Called after having a reaction to the antibiotic asking for a different prescription. Told I would be called back and they would call something in. I called back 4 hours later and was told they would get back to me by the end of day. Still no call back or prescription change. My husband listened to the phone calls and could not believe how dismissive she was. After you leave you receive a text asking you for a score of 0 to 10 on your experience. The auto reply for a good score send you to a google site to give your review. The auto for a bad score says someone might call you. Really? read more

I stopped in to this clinic yesterday! I was very impressed with how quick I was seen. I was suprised to see that while I was waiting to get called to the back, the receptionist even came out and sprayed and wiped down all the chairs with disinfectant. Going to a doctors office you are always worried that you are going to leave with germs that you didn't start off with. It was nice to see the staff cared enough to go the extra mile. My nurse was Martha and she was very friendly and professional. The PA who saw me was quick but informative. Jennifer checked me out as well as in and explained where my meds had been sent. I brought my daughter in to the urgent care for an ankle injury. The lobby was full and it said we had a 60-75 minute wait. We waited about 50 minutes. We were seen by Kerri and we were checked in she was very nice and explained to us how the process of today's visit was. Kerri also asked many questions during medical history to be sure we did not miss anything. Chris came in and checked her ankle. He thought it was a ligament sprain but wanted xrays just encase. The xray was clear. She did have a sprain and was given a lace up ankle brace to wear. We were in and out in 25 minutes with office visit and xray. I was even able to get to work on time. read more

This place is terrible! The front desk staff seem so disinterested in their work that I think they might actually rather see you die...except then they might have to do something. The "no facilities fees" line on their website is such BS, they may not technically charge you something called a "facility fee" but they sure will charge you every other fee under the sun to maximize the bill, then when insurance doesn't pay any small amount they will send you to collections with no warning. There are other options for urgent care in Lansing, go to one that actually cares. Stay away! read more

As the flu as moved through our house hold I have made many trips to Lansing Urgent Care, the latest of which was yesterday at the W. Saginaw location with my daughter. I am so glad that I have some where to take her where every single staff member is kind and compassionate to myself and my child. The brunette receptionist that was at the front desk even remembers us and greets us with a smile. And the nurses care for us as if we were their own family members. Everyone is so nice, and usually very fast. I really appreciate having some where so great to take my family!! read more

I went into Urgent Care the day after Christmas and yes it was busy but 20min. later I was seen by a wonderful and kind nurse named Katie. She not only made me feel better but answered all my questions! The doctor, which was Dr. Smith was also very kind and understanding. He gave me advice and information on my illness plus antibiotics to help! I will recommend this urgent care to all my friends and family thank you so much. The Westside Urgent Care is great, love the online check-in and estimated wait time feature on their website. I typically go there when my 5 yr old or 2 yr old is sick, so I really appreciate that they have antibiotics onsite. This was especially helpful when my toddler was sick the evening before Christmas Eve, it save us from having to drive across town to the only open pharmacy! Staff are very friendly and obviously passionate about upholding their reputation. Never had a bad experience and highly recommend LUC. read more

I was lucky enough to arrive when no one else was waiting and was called back in less than 5 minutes. The receptionist and nurse were very pleasant. Pretty sure their blood pressure machine was malfunctioning because it said my BP was wildly high and when someone came in to do it manually, it was fine. The doctor was great! She really listened and gave me all of my options and encouraged me to return if my symptoms persisted. I was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. read more

I love this place!! I have taken my daughter here several times and everyone is so nice and helpful. They do a great job of getting me in and out and the facility and staff are wonderful. The last time my daughter had to have an abscess drained, the receptionist Jennifer was great checking us in, and the PA that saw here Sara was so patient with her, she really took the time to talk to her and calm her down before draining the abscess. read more

Took a bad fall while walking my dog. Went to Lansing Urgent Care to get checked out. Check-in screen showed a wait time of up to 32 minutes. I was back in the exam room in about 5. Got checked over, head, arm and ribs. X-rays for ribs. Broken rib. Staff was excellent and very professional. I was out in about 50 minutes. Highly recommend this location. read more

This is my second walk in visit within the last couple of years. The first, I stepped on a nail. Today I went because I wanted to get in and out and felt awful. If you wish to be treated like you are a med seeking scumbag go here. Any Mclaren facility has the cruelest most evil employees. My thumb is still dislocated and I am currently between vehicles and THIS nightmare is just down the street. Never again. I would give 0 stars if I could. I have been to this clinic several times this winter with my family. Sunday I brought my oldest in to be seen, and the staff was great! Jennifer the receptionist was really nice and helpful, all the nurses that were in and out of our room were also friendly and compassionate! I work for a lawn care company and got stung by a bee back in August. I wasn't sure if I was allergic or not, so I went in. Jen was the most amazing person.
