First and foremost, let me say I'm disappointed. I had good expectations from this place based on other reviews. Below are the photos of $30 worth of food that was not worth it. Mediocre size fries (large container for small amount) a Philly cheesesteak with barely any cheese and it tasted like one of those Kraft slices that just melted on the sandwich, not to mention the mushrooms are from a can, SMH. The gyros was just "ok" nothing like the Kronos from Chicago. For what I paid, I could have gotten better quality food. Stingy sizes greedy prices. Never ever again! read more

Swung by to pick up some food while in the area based on the reviews. Called in our order and pick up was easy; the servers were both very polite and friendly. Food was still hot when I got back to the hotel; the waffle chips were delish and didn't disappoint. The gyro burger was actually gyro on top of a burger and not ground into the burger (as I've had in the past) not sure how it's listed on their menu but that was a new one for me. We got all of my favorite Greek dishes to go. We got gyros, dolmades, and baklava. The gyro was large and filled with meat, I ordered extra tzatziki because I like a lot, it was delicious. The homemade chips are incredible. The baklava was the best I've ever had because it's no too sweet like many of the are. It was all all wonderful and I highly recommend the good. Jimmy Da Greek's Deli gets a solid 5-star. We had the gyro chicken, gyro combo, the Manhattan, wings and their olive leaves. The gyros were very good. Both the chicken and the combo had very substantial amount of meat with very good serving of lettuce and condiments. The manhattan was fantastic. I bought it as a lunch item for the next day, and it was very good. The wings were good sized as naked with medium sauce. I warmed half of them back up later and they were still good. The olive leaves were not too my and my wife's taste even though they were full of flavor, but not to our taste. Jimmy Da Greek's Deli is a repeat restaurant for us. Their decor is slightly boring, even with the TV's playing Sunday football. It doesn't strong detract from the experience, so no mark down on rating for it. read more

Prepare for a food coma. The portions are enormous; but delicious. Nice clean venue with outdoor seating available. I had the regular gyro which comes with homemade potato chips or fries. The gyro sandwich was huge with meat filling. The homemade potato chips are really good. They are super crunchy and are very similar to real chips in that they aren't soft like a fry. Place your order at one counter and pick it up at the other. Completed orders are called out over the PA system. A couple of flat screens to keep you occupied while you dine in or wait for your take-out. The menu has a number of items to chose from, surely to fill you up. read more

We found an authentic mom and pop Greek Deli!!!! Thanks to my fellow Yelpers. We had the New Yorker that was piled high with some of the best corn beef and pastrami we've ever had. The homemade waffle chips are not to be missed. We also had delicious hummus and pita which came in a big bowl. And we had Mom's Greek Salad with the large chunks of tomatoes and cucumbers, lots of olives, huge chunks of feta and highly recommend the Greek dressing. The wait staff was super friendly. It was 5:45 on a Sat. Only a few tables were full, but more came in as we finished. Speed of service was what you would expect of a resturant. Just right. As a surprise bonus there was live soulful bluesy music by Richie Beard. We did not want to leave. Can not wait to return and try more food!!! read more

Dined in a couple times, atmosphere isn't my favorite, but the food is always great and I've never had a bad experience with the staff. They have a few paintings on the wall to look at, a few arcade machines, some small candy machines near the door, and a selection between tables and booths surrounded by tvs high on the walls. I usually order the Mino's burger, a burger specifically known as the one with an egg on it, which is what I refer to when I forget it's name, haha. It's a messy burger as the yolk can go everywhere, but it's my favorite and it's delicious. I would also recommend their chips that they make instead of the fries or onion rings, because they have a nice crunch and salted flavor to them. My dad loves to order their reuben and I also agree it is delicious. As for their dessert options, their selection is somewhat limited, but their baklava is something my dad often requests so. It took several minutes to decide because they have so many choices, and it all sounded delicious. My lunch companions enjoyed what they chose, and also have vowed to return. OMG, why haven't I heard of this place. Their menu has so many great options . Best Greek Salad EVER! It was so fresh, three huge "logs" of feta, and very large. Onion rings are some of the best in town. Chicken souvlaki pita was soooo delicious! Best Greek burger ever! Excellent hummus! Was recommended by a friend, and while I was in there waiting was recommended by another patron letting me know the pizzas were great and everything was great on the menu. After having the New Yorker with the chips I know that another trip will have to happen. And a pizza may be in my near future. This sandwich was chock-full....like a two meal sandwich. Great steak and cheese and homemade chips and fries! The owner says he uses a higher-priced steak, and I believe him. Just opened a month ago but has a good crowd most days. They have eight big-screen TVs to watch your favorite events. My son had a gyro and enjoyed it; my wife has had both the BLT sub and the chicken salad sub; both are delicious. Food was awesome ! So good we forgot to take photos of it . We had Pittsburgh special ( it had pastrami , slaw , special sauce and fries in it ) the ultimate , it was HUGE ! A chicken gyro without fries and a regular gyro with the fries in it . Tasty crispy homemade chips and Greek egg rolls . If they have the egg rolls offered that day get them ! Sooo good !!! I ordered a kids meal for my child and Chrissy refused to give me a drink and told me "we usually don't give kids drinks to adults ordering kids meal" on top of having super salty fries and I had to let her know that my child is not walking into a restaurant alone and paying for their food which is common sense I'll be sure to never order here again. read more

If you're not eating here, you should! Today was our 3rd visit to Jimmy's. The food is excellent! The lunch meat they use on the subs is outstanding. My favorite is the Reuben. My husband had the special - Buffalo Chicken Wrap & said it was terrific. They also have ranch dip for the fries that reminds me of the best of Philly pubs. What makes Jimmy's special, besides their giant homemade cookies, is the people! They really do care about you as a customer. They will do whatever it takes to make sure your meal and experience is fantastic. The restaurant is clean, lots of TV's for the sports lover, and daily specials. I found the service to be wonderful. The menu was overwhelming. We ordered several items to be fair. First I had the baklava. It was good and the sugars and syrups had crystallized nicely. The flavor packed a punch and it was very nutty. All together it was good but would have liked a fresher slice. We ordered the regular gyros one with fries and One with onions (both an upcharge). The fries were awesome and fresh with great seasoning. The onion rings were insanely good. The Gryo was so so. The meat was delicious and the lettuce was a bit wilted. The taziki was so delicious but was only applied to the first half of gyro so the first half was good and flavorful. I ordered the spanakopita as well. This is traditionally baked as a casserole or a lasagna. So in a dish and then cut into slices. This one was made individually which is a great concept for a restaurant that perhaps doesn't serve it too often. However the frozen spinach was overpowering. You can tell the spinach and feta have been mixed together for a while. It was gag worthy. So two bites and done. We would return perhaps another day. The 4 star was because they had cops and firefighters enter while we were there and the owner was so kind to them and welcoming and someone who respects our amazing men and woman in uniform gets an extra star just for being a badass! read more

Why would you go anywhere else for a sandwich! They're huge and delicious here. The 6 inch is more than enough to fill up a person along with the homemade chips with it. The 6 inch subs are about $5 and for the size and quality, it's hard to beat. They are super friendly here and want their customers happy.
