However, after repeatedly asking him to charge my insurance (which covers chiropractic services) I realized that he was not billing my insurance and was instead accumulating a bill for me. He said that it would be no problem because it would be paid directly out of the lawsuit from the car accident. I studied the bills and realized that he was charging me THREE TIMES his posted rate. I stopped going to him because I was uncomfortable with his billing practices. Then he went against his word and did not wait until the lawsuit was complete, but wanted to be paid immediately. This was a large amount of cash out of my personal savings. After going through attorneys, things were finally settled after a lot of headache. I spoke with my insurance company and they said that what he did was not ethical and was insurance fraud. I would be very, very careful about going to see this deceitful person.
