Here today! I needed…read morea dry cleaners and Yelp recommended Winn Street Laundry, it was within 2 miles of my hotel so perfect. Winn Street Laundry does their laundry on premise but they send their dry cleaning out. I'm not use to their prices, they have a minimum weight and Jezzzzus, their prices was astronomical! I asked how much and gasps behind me for asking and the lady at the counter "This is Boston" look and their awards let me know YOU WANT YOUR CLOTHES DONE RIGHT, SCREW THE PRICES. $7 freakin dollars for a single shirt? It was either my ego that agreed, determined to look Winn Street Laundry starched down and pressed or didn't wanna look cheap and couldn't afford their services. I said out loud "Good grief, I pay $2.79 in Houston for a man buttoned down laundry, heavy starched shirt". I felt the evil eyes trying to climb my Psalm 91 hedges of protection because one of the two tunnels here was closed due to construction and the traffic put commuter's at least 30 minutes behind and in traffic. These Bostonians need to fire up a joint which is legal here and CHILL OUT:)))) Anywho, my dry cleaning was superb and the heavy starch I requested cut my neck and was ready before time. My shirt collars was white so I had not a one complaint for my HARD earned mula. I received a text when my clothes were ready along with a reminder of the price, I like that. I learned a valuable lesson from Winn; order some white polo's from Amazon, buy Spray n Wash along with spray starch and save that money for 2 16 inch bundles of human hair:))) Here today! - The ruined 3 of my jeans by not cutting to the lengths he marked as when I dropped it off, all…read moreended up short and some were even cut at different lengths - Gave him a pant to reduce the waist, he took down the measurements and instead of reducing he opened it up and made the waist bigger - Gave him another 3 pair of pants and had him take measurements twice just to be sure but the following is what he did: First pant needed the waist reduced. He reduced waist but also cut short the length of the legs Second pant was to reduce the leg length, he did do that. Third pant was to reduce on waist and shorten leg length. He did shorten the waist but forgot to reduce the length of the legs. Instead he shortened the first pair. After I explained to him the mistakes he did he did not listen to me and started arguing with me. All in all one of the worst experiences and recommend no one to go there to get their alterations there. I should have learnt my lessons after the first time he made his mistakes but I was just giving him a chance to fix his mistakes instead I got short changed (literally).

The seamstress that did my wedding dress made one beautifully and even added a zipper. Other places make them all the time. They are a low-skill alteration fix. The dress was fixed as best as possible by my new seamstress who is near me. Thank God I didn't bring them (Joshuas) my wedding gown! As you can see in the pictures, the dress fit crooked and the modesty panel? If you could call it that. Anyone could've done a better job. Overpriced and horrible work. Save your money!

Therewasnoway to see what they were taking since they all went different directions. They emptied our closets and dressers. We had little idea what they took. No photos, lists or receipts. When they began to bring back our clothes, a LOT of items were badly stained and damaged. One expensive coat not only had several new stains but looked like a dog attacked it... giant rip. A brand new cashmere sweater, never worn, was torn and newly discolored. When we finally got back what they said was everything, we began to notice items missing. Many of them were expensive. Many hadn't been worn and still had tags. Sals was unresponsive for many weeks. They never provided an inventory, only got that provided by our insurer who sent us their invoice. Many items on that invoice were not returned! We lost $10k plus of our belongings not even counting the dozens of items damaged and severely stained. Horrible! Don't ever do business with this unscrupulous company!!!

No complaints, no ugly comments, just "Real Customer Service ". We were so grateful ! I wish that there were more stars to give. I will forever be grateful to Sal's. Then I received several orders in a row where whites were clearly washed with something dark and stains appeared on things that were not there before. I also used to think I had clearly put in socks without their mates until they lost a sock that was part of a pair I specifically made sure was put in together. Finally, twice my bags were delivered to the wrong building despite explicitly clear instructions. It was so convenient (again, if expensive) but I'm not willing to put my things at risk of damage, loss, or wrong delivery for what they charge.
