I figured I have nothing to lose, so why not. The only con for me is that it's not a long term solution. The time frame that the scalp micropigmentation lasts varies from person to person. After a few sessions, I noticed I didn't have to worry about my bald spots showing anymore. I also didn't have to put on hair loss powder anymore. For several months, I did not have to worry about my balding showing. After about 5 months, I scheduled my touch up session. He does a complimentary touch up after a period of time. I scheduled my touch up session and I was disappointed because I thought to myself, there's no way he can possibly touch up all the areas in one session. Fortunately, he is an ethical business man. He told me, I would need a minimum of 2-3 total complimentary touch up sessions because there's no way he can possibly touch up all of the areas in one session. This told me a lot about his character. He gave me an affordable deal as well. You could tell it really bugged him to do a partial job because I only paid for my main problem area, but clearly I needed other areas done. It seemed like he really wanted to help me, and wanted to complete the job as a whole, and he gave me a rate I couldn't refuse to complete all of my problem areas. Looking back at it, he has invested so much time into my scalp micropigmentation. Each session can vary from 2 to 3 hours, and there were multiple sessions. With this being said, I truly feel like he gave me so much value considering the quality work and time he put into it. He did not want to come back empty hands .  Linda (store owner, if I am right ) confirmed  my husband that" it could be easily return and refund any time , don't  worry ".   My husband bought one for me   to surprise me despite I told not to .  ONLY BEACAUSE (he said) " don't worry , we could return if it doesn't   fit you "    On receiving the wig , I told my husband  " I  have  already had two of  same wig  as you bought. "  Then  I ran to post office  to mail back to DREAM TOUCH"   Nine month later, I went to  the STORE  of DREAM TOUCH in LA to get refund .   To my  shocking surprise,  I felt like a 5 year old toddler scolded  by my own mom for my unacceptable behavior.  This is what SHE LECTURED me.  1.  You talked me with loud voice while other customers  in the  room of the store. 2. Your husband signed on no return, no refund policy. 3. I ve never  had returned and refunded  with other customers.   (  I know  she meant to say of her business  well known for best reputation  and good customer satisfaction rate ) 4. You are the  loser if it escalates to  legal dispute,  since your husband signed on the no refund policy on the receipt. ( I doubt if they have other receipt form  with " you may return and may get refunded  any time " ) But she told me  that she will refund via credit card company since it should be refunded  through  credit company. I came  home waiting and waiting for 3 months.  I called  her phone only to get a text message saying " I ll call you back right away"   After  several text messages I ve got   repeating the same message of " I will call you back right away" , I realized that it was not her real intention to do it.  It was  only a  finger stroke that means "  I am busy . Don't  call me" , the same way she scolded in front of me .    I know if it were customized one, I can't  ask for refund. But  the one I bought was someone's  wig, which was   returned  and hanging on the display for who knows how long.  If the advertisement is the real true , it should have made after  measured  and hand maded . So glad I picked DAMO to help me combat my post menopausal hair thinning. I had already started to…read moreuse a red light cap which helped but could not reverse the extreme hair loss ( fistfuls post hair wash and lots of hair shedding throughout the day) Seeing Elaine ( a trichologist) was the perfect next step. after examining my scalp and hair follicles and getting an idea about my nutrition, health and sleep habits, she confirmed some immediate low hanging fruit things I could do at home to help with my oily and inflamed scalp( shampooing more often, adding supplements, sleeping better, etc) to help and I did see an immediate and dramatic reduction in hair shedding and some new hair growth but after 3 months I hit a plateau so contacted Elaine to start the 3 month stem cell treatment. As she described it takes a few months to see new and strengthened growth which I started to notice around month 2. And now after 3 months in Jenny's good hands, (and while I am not back to my 20s-30s hair thickness) it is noticeably more full and I felt comfortable getting my hair cut and permed once again. I was afraid prior that someone manipulating my hair with chemicals would make my hair loss worse but it is really healthy!! I wanted a non chemical ( ie minoxidil) method to regain my hair and this was just what I needed. While the results are impressive as one would hope given the cost, what stood out even more was the honest transparency and integrity of the business. Some examples: 1) when I left my first meeting with Elaine, she gave me a lot of information and specific recommendations but she 100% supported and advocated for my non-DAMO ( and less expensive) shampoo choice. No trying to convince me that the DAMO shampoo was better. she even said her husband used my shampoo. She did not try to hard sell me on the stem cell treatment 2) During the time I was managing my own hair care, I had questions about products and processes and she was so responsive in giving her expert advice again with not hard sell and she was a cheerleader when I shared some progress I was making 3) when I checked in with her after I plateaued to get started on the SC treatment she had to gently and frequently stop me from "overbuying" by reassuring me that the treatment plan she recommended which was less expensive would achieve the goals I wanted. How many businesses do you know that prevents you from spending more money with them for your own good? Anyways, I'm going to keep going with the home treatment and I know that I will have Elaine as my advisor throughout my hair journey.
