She started when she was just 2 years old, and as an only child, she has flourished in ways I never imagined within just one year. The facility is super clean. Cleanliness is so important for preschoolers, and Goddard takes it seriously. But it's not just the space that's clean--the staff are cheerful, professional, and genuinely happy. And happy caregivers mean happy children. If you're a parent who sometimes struggles with "mom guilt" like I do, you'll appreciate that Goddard provides a real breakfast. Not just a snack, but a hearty morning meal. It takes the pressure off when mornings don't go as planned and you missed breakfast that morning. Goddard is not a daycare--it's a preschool. I didn't fully understand the difference until my daughter started here. The teachers are amazing, the leadership team is respectful and professional, and the owner is warm, approachable, and lovely to speak with. When I moved to the area, I toured more than a dozen childcare facilities, and while many were just "facilities," none came close to the level of care, professionalism, and joy at Goddard Gambrills. It is hard to describe what exactly this place is, but I'll give it a go. When you first walk in the front doors, you think you are entering a library, you are, kind of, that is upstairs and open certain hours. Once you get inside the main space, you feel like you have entered a community center or maybe a college student center. A quick look to the left it makes you think that you have ended up at a rest stop along the highway, or maybe a visitor center. With all the brochures for 'nearby' sights. I stress nearby because there were brochures for places as far away as Gettysburg. I'm not going to lie, I picked up a few brochures myself. As you move further into the space it feels almost like a concession stand and/or a breakroom. There are vending machines, arcade games and outdoor seating. Inside there is also a playground (currently closed for upgrades) and a tech lab. The big draw here is the ballroom. This space can be used for a multitude of things and is connected to other areas. Big enough for a special night, training, or informational gathering. With all this place has to offer, I'm surprised it wasn't in better use the day I was here. The library gets the most use in my opinion.

Parents ask me all the time which school gets the most out of their students. My answer is always the same; NAPS. This is the best run, most efficient, and nicest school you'll ever come across, period. I don't know much about how tuition works or any of that but I'm sure it's expensive to send your child here and for good reason, you get what you pay for. The quality of the education your son or daughter receives stands head and shoulders above the rest. I'm not saying other schools in the area are garbage or anything like that. I'm not putting other schools down let me be clear. Just that in my years of experience working with kids in after school, the teachers and administrators at NAPS do a better job than most. If you care about your child's future then definitely check this school out. I give them two thumbs up!
