I needed a cowboy hat and I've been here in the past for cowgirl stuff, so I figured I'd mosy on over. They have about two dozen types of cowboy hats, but I needed one with a stampede string. You don't want to be on a horse that's galloping and lose your hat. I did find a hat for about $65.00 which was the least expensive one they had with a stampede string. The long sleeved blouses were very tempting, but maybe I'll splurge on one of those next year. The only reason I am deducting two stars if for the following reasons: 1) The prices are too high for a majority of the things they sell. Cute boots, but the prices were nuts. I'll just use Zappos.com. If you have money to burn I guess it isn't an issue. 2) The service wasn't the best. One older woman acted like she owned the place and didn't even ask me if I needed help. The other younger woman asked me what I was looking for, but didn't bother to help me find it. If they decide to work on customer service and more realistic prices I'll give them two more stars. Y'all have one more year until my next visit. Hopefully, things will improve.

Mia was so personable, I felt as if I made a new friend along with the decorating help we recieved. We ordered three custom pieces as well as window coverings. All look wonderful in our new home and we get so many compliments. I have strong opinions and tastes and Mia respected that as well as giving input. There was a slight problem with a "farmhouse" library unit and Mia and her crew spent hours getting it to fit so exactly into our library that it looks as if it was custom made for the room. They purchased several items and my mom, who is 90, had clearly lost all her hair, looks very weak, pointed out to the woman behind the counter that she wanted to purchase an 8$ hand cream she was carrying around and was going to leave it at the counter. The woman ignored her so my mom kept shopping and carried it with her. At one point, my mom was looking at something so she put the hand cream in her purse so that she could use both hands. She and her friend bought many items INCLUDING the $8 hand cream. A week later, my mom brought me back to the store to get something she had been thinking about wanting to purchase. As soon as we walked into the store, the woman charged over to my mom and started berating her about putting the hand cream in her purse the week before. She threatened my mom that she was either going to ban her from the store or she would keep both of our purses as we shopped. We were shocked. My mom said calmly "I showed you the hand cream and told you I wanted to purchase it. And I paid for the hand cream along with the other items. Do you not remember that?" The woman kept berating my mom and said "but you put it in your purse! Who does that?" I said "Someone who is 90, has cancer, just had chemo, is weak and wants to use both hands to look at something and then takes the item out of her purse to purchase it and the other things she purchased!!! "... This didn't stop the woman's tirade. My mom gently said "do you honestly believe that at the end of the year, I would care about $8? Does that sound reasonable to you?" And the woman said " the conversation is over" and followed us around the store - literally - just followed us around the store. It was awful. My mom and I left, shaking. We have never been treated like that my anyone ever in a store. Save yourself from being treated like this. No business deserves customers who treats them like this.

Still, I found it very enjoyable to browse their selections, enjoying the stylish displays. I did find several items to take home, plus picked up a couple small gifts. I particularly love a silicone spatula I bought here, which has an ergonomic design that makes it comfortable to use.
