    rice, eggs, and sausage station

I really want to rate this as 4-stars, but I'm giving 5 because I want to highlight that this place is not as bad as the reviews have reported. At least from my 1st time experience here. When I first booked through a 3rd party, I made the mistake of not reading the reviews first, which I almost always do. So after booking, I started to read the reviews and was horrified from all the bad reviews and felt I've made a grave mistake. Many of the reviews mentioned roaches and bugs which freaked me out. I couldn't cancel so I thought I'd muster it through. All that time I stayed I was paranoid that those litter critters would rear their ugly tiny heads. I have to to say NOT ONCE did I see any bugs or roaches. Thank The Lord!! Thanks Yelp for helping to make my stay uncomfortable in my head. LOL! Like Charae, perhaps the property made changes and updates because my stay was absolutely perfect, comfortable bed, sheets were clean, fresh towels, friendly staff, big clean room with pots, pans, and utensils to cook up a meal. I got some fresh jumbo prawns at Whole Foods and cooked up pasta with cheese the veggies, it was delicious! I didn't have any oil to fry the prawns so I simmered them in water instead. My few complaints: my phone wasn't working, and seemed dirty, so I used my own phone to call the front desk. The staff was friendly to give me a late checkout. The lady in the breakfast area kept all the breakfast items replenished and they even served rice! For us asian folks who like rice in morning Hawaiian style, I felt this spoke volumes for me! The only thing missing was the soy sauce . The eggs didn't really seem like eggs, but they were satisfying with the sausages. They had yogurt, cereals, bagels, waffles, 4 toasters, bread, and all the condiments, including syrup and cream cheese. Hope this helps.

Traveling to Sunnyvale for business, I had the worst motel experience of my life at this location. After checking in around 10pm at night, i went up to my room, dropped my bags, and then went back down to grab something I'd forgotten. When I returned upstairs, my key card didn't work -- no light at all on the door when I scanned it. Incredibly, the hotel couldn't get me into my room. The front desk person told me that the lock unit on the door was dead, and that maintenance couldn't come until the morning (!!!!) to open it -- because they needed manager approval to call maintenance in after hours. This is around 11pm. I spent hours sitting in the lobby panicking, as I had nothing with me -- no toiletries, clothing, my work laptop, nothing-- and needed to be at work for a conference I'd traveled from out of state for first thing in the morning. Around 1am the maintenance man showed up anyways and broke the lock down (see photo). Exhausted and stressed, I then moved all my items to a new room -- with a working lock. I spoke with the manager the next day who apologized and promised to follow-up over email or phone call with some sort of recompense for this terrible experience. Incredibly, I was completely ghosted by this hotel after repeatedly calling and email to follow-up on this. I absolutely can NOT recommend this hotel to anyone, especially to business travelers who can't risk being locked out of their room possibly overnight?! I've traveled extensively and have stayed in everything from 1-star hostels to nice business hotels, and this is the worst customer experience I've ever experienced. Gave the hotel every opportunity to make this right - posting this review is an unfortunate last step but one I feel obligated to leave as a warning to other travelers.

    The floor was SOAKED

DO NOT STAY HERE. My husband, one of our friends and I stayed here this past weekend and it was the absolute worst hotel experience I've ever had. Checking in was easy and the woman who checked us in was extremely helpful but we had to wait 10 minutes (even though we booked it for 2 nights so the room should've been ready already) to wait for a room to be cleaned. We waited and got into the room and it's definitely good size and the kitchenette is a nice amenity for sure. But there was still hair on the counter in the bathroom as well as ants. Absolute worst part of this experience was us coming back to our hotel and from 4-9 am our neighbors upstairs were throwing things around and banging keeping us up. But to top it off they flooded their bathroom which leaked into our bathroom light and ceiling! We called the front desk and she didn't even know what to do, we had to tell her to go and check on it. She also said they didn't have a maintenance man or a manager on site!!!! ON A SUNDAY! How does that even make any sense? So, she goes to check on it and tells us the person above us "was taking a bath" WHAT?!!! Who takes a bath at 6 in the morning and flood their bathroom that bad it leaks into the floor below? To make this even better they didn't even offer to clean it up or anything. They came to check on it said "oh yeah that's bad. Sorry about that" and leave. The complete lack of empathy and professionalism from the people who work here is appalling. I called the manager this morning and he said he was called by the staff yesterday morning (when it happened) and said he didn't check on it or call me because they said the leak stopped....lol oh okay! He said he was giving us a full refund for the night of the stay but it still doesn't make it better. We had to drive 4 hours home on NO SLEEP because the people above us were so rude and noisy all night. Do not stay here whatever you do.

Rug literally nailed down in front of elevator

Goodness where to begin? Our room was huge, I will say that but it was right next to the elevator which was LOUD! I sleep with the world's best earplugs and I could even hear it. My poor family without ear plugs? Well they were awake most of the nights. Front desk said they were full and couldn't switch us, it was truly deafening. The curtains in our room were in literal tatters (see photos) and the curtains were not hung properly on the rod (the little things are the big things). As you can see from the photos, the "breakfast" was less than desirable and the coffee was undrinkable. The rugs and carpets were FILTHY and literally nailed down (see photos). I would not stay here again if it were free or even if they paid me.

Whiskey sticker that lives on the kitchen light. How longs it been there you think?

My friend rented a room here and I came to hang out. At first the room seemed great for the money she paid. There's a kitchenette and the room has plenty of space. And pet friendly. My issue is with the roach issue. We found a couple of roaches through the night. Dead and alive. And we had to boil water on the stove to get a decently hot bath drawn. Did love the old Fireball Whiskey label stuck to the kitchen light. This sucks. Definitely wouldn't spend the night here unless it was a real good deal

On the phone a young mid aged man with a heavy accent tried to sell me a room for more than what was priced online. So I told him that I will just book my stay with a third party since it had the room I wanted for cheaper...I'm not sure if he was upset that I didn't book with him for possible commission purposes but you can sense over the phone he wasn't happy....(so days go by and guess what? The same guy ended up being the person who checked me in & he stated that my room I booked wasn't available and made me pay an additional charge for each night stay for the correct room I originally already paid for. This made me upset and it was my birthday!! The audacity---Please DO NOT BOOK HERE! The other staff members gave better customer service. ....As for our room...it smelled bad and hasn't been updated. I paid for a balcony and didn't have one---which I was charged for as well. The exterior of the hotel is inviting but once you go inside it's smelly and its worst than a Roach motel. My door even had a lock issue and my key wouldn't work to get in. I'm never giving this place business especially with that man working the front desk. Karma will get him. This is the worst experience I've ever had with any hotel ever. I would give negative stars if I could----Run from this place and Book somewhere else.

Momstera Lounge is at the end of the little downtown, so it was fun to walk around and made the most of our long drive. Everyone's thought is, "Why do I have to go somewhere to do this when I can buy it myself and do it?" However, you'll miss out on the community that was created by Momstera. It's located in Campbell, so it's also a community city with a lot of families and friends. I enjoyed making my moss art while listening to Charlene's DJ in the background. There's a great variety of plants, pots, and plant decorations that you can purchase!

I was amazed by the speed and professionalism! If only I had this level of set up at every birthday party. Barely any dictation or answering questions was needed. What a hugeeee lift off the mental load! There's a dedicated drink fridge in front of the register that kept our drinks chilled and easy for guests to grab. The food table is nice and long so it held a lot of food & we had A LOTT of food. We opted for the photo package too which was nice because usually being the host means you're too busy to take photos and get photos taken of your family. Overall, I highly recommend this place for your little one's special event! I only wish that this place was bigger so that we could invite more friends to our event. However, being smaller means more intimate events and those who are invited should feel super blessed and lucky to have made the cut!
