**3.5 stars** Super cute boutique plant store for plant mamas and papas! The store is a little smaller than I thought (you can see the whole store right when you enter), and the prices were steeper that I thought (ie, tiny enamel pins are $12 and $16!) -- so after such a long drive to get there, I didn't end up buying anything, which is very OFF BRAND of me! Momstera Lounge is at the end of the little downtown, so it was fun to walk around and made the most of our long drive. The store is super cute though, and if I lived closer, I'd probably check out one of their classes. read more

Momstera Lounge is such a cute and intimate small business. Charlene, the owner and founder of Momstera, was such a delight. Just like everyone else, we find ourselves exploring different hobbies, and this Lounge was the definition of that. Not only do they offer services such as making moss art, tooth gems, and DJ lessons, but also a huge variety of other options. Everyone's thought is, "Why do I have to go somewhere to do this when I can buy it myself and do it?" However, you'll miss out on the community that was created by Momstera. It's located in Campbell, so it's also a community city with a lot of families and friends. I enjoyed making my moss art while listening to Charlene's DJ in the background. This would be such a cute event for birthdays or just bonding with friends. Bonus points are if you're a plant snob like me. I can't even begin to express how much I love this little store. I went to a yelp event here and just had to go back and bring my family. The store and owner are warm and welcoming. I went in knowing I wanted a plant for my little storage closet of an office but know nothing of plants and it doesn't have windows. Not only did she give me some suggestions, she brought me over to the plants, explained exactly how to take care of it and told me I could always come back with any questions. Especially discovering that it is a #PinayOwned small business. A quaint and cosy boutique shop right next to the VTA light rail track in Campbell. I missed the window label that proudly announced it was a small, Filipina woman owned business. A shirt with Filipino words alerted me that this was a special store fostering my cultural pride. Meeting the owner, Charlene, confirmed my discovery that she started this business 3 years ago. The shop's wall adorn by handmade paintings & a mural that conveys Charlene's spirit of her shop. While small, it was captivatingly fun to explore every nook and cranny. She even showcases and supports other women entrepreneurs. I was immediately drawn to the ZZ plants. She helped me understand the symbolism of them which inspired me to buy 2 smaller ones to help a loved one through her grief and for me to inspire my continued 2025 manifestation journey. At home, I discovered a very personal message of gratitude with a picture of one of the original artwork and an affirmation card. Knowing her origination story and impact of the store, inspires me to put Charlene's store on my short list of places to find unique, soul-filled gifts. This place is vibrant and full of life! I love the selection of plants they have available. I got to create my own little moss artwork and the customer service is wonderful. The helpers are super attentive and restocked the supplies immediately whenever they got low. I really enjoyed listening to Charlene's mixes as I worked on my art. I also really valued the community atmosphere that the lounge helped foster. It feels like the perfect place to get together with friends and try any of their activities. Every time I visit, I walk out happier than when I walked in (usually with a new plant baby in hand!). Charlene, the owner, is an absolute delight. A very cute plant daddy type store! haha. They have stickers for plant dads! lol. I got a star type pottery pot and a fun plant a few months ago. It is hard for me to keep plants alive as I travel for a few weeks to a few months at a time. The owner is great, has a card in the bag to describe her background (single mom fyi), lets you wonder and is also there to be a resource, is located in a fun part of Campbell downtown, and has a personality for her store. Plants are one of a kind, is a place I recommend my friends to check out, and is a small business you love to support! Such a cute little shop in downtown Campbell! Stopped by on the way home from the Farmers Market and they have such a great selection of plants, crystals and adorable nicknacks. We were greeted right away and felt super welcome. The prices are great, gorgeous pots for plants that are $20 and under when at other plant shops I've seen similar ones for over $30. Listen everyone have a seat and listen to what I have to say about this incredible women's own business. I visit Campbell quite a bit as I live very close by but anyhow I always thought that this business was either a plant store and a dispensary based off of the architectural design outside and I feel bad that I have not visited sooner LOL. As someone who loves and appreciates the intrinsic value and beauty that indoor plants offer to enhance one's home or environment I always love the sport little businesses like this. Charlene is an absolute gem very sweet super friendly and she has curated and extensive amount of accessories, and different types of gorgeous and healthy plants at her shop there's something for everyone who loves plants ranging from bracelets, to little plant decorations, to books and so on. The space while it is small is beautifully curated and Ultra cozy. I feel like the value is pretty excellent here I bought a couple of pins to take home as I really don't need more plants but as soon as I know someone who needs a plant I will definitely buy several for hair. One of my favorite things to give people is actually a houseplant when I visit other folks so I know I will be patronizing Charlene's business again soon. read more

Very cute, modern plant and crystal shop great for purchasing gifts. It is located next to a parking lot which was very convenient for Campbell considering I usually have to look for street parking. There is a larger selection of smaller potted plants than larger plants (as shown in photos). Plant care items and vases/pots are also sold here, as well as greeting cards, bracelets, and novelty items like a plant shaped coaster arrangement. They occasionally host events, such as plant workshops, with details posted on their website. Prices are fair since I found the items to be of high quality. Signed up for the monthly Momstera Magic Hour and attended it last night. If you go, you need to buy a ticket in advance on their website and, when you go, bring a Yoga mat, a pillow and/or cushion and an open mind and positive attitude! Be prepared to sit or lie on your mat/pillow for the duration. During the magic hour, you'll experience an introduction to meditation, including breath work, sound healing, chakras, and crystals. You'll receive some pocket crystals to use during class and we were allowed to take them home with us after. The instructor will explain how, why and when to use them. You may experience deep release (even tears!) and relaxation (even sleep!). It's all part of the journey and each person's journey is different and even different each time. I made a find this week for a great plant experience in old town Campbell! Monsters Lounge. I love plants and wanted to share that love with my friends who were visiting from LA. They picked out a pot and I picked out a starter plant and I showed them how to prepare the pot with the right soil and transplant their healthy and bright new vine plant. Because it is pretty obvious the store has a girly flavor, from the omnipresent these days 'hello beautiful' signs to the color palette to the array of candles and crystals. The plant selection is gorgeous and abundant, matching with the Instagram worthy aesthetics of pastels and good vibes. I found very cool to have a sticker in my hands with the face of the owner. I can't tell you how many times I've told myself "no more plants" only to forget the moment I walk into a nursery.. I knew I was pretty much screwed the moment I stepped into Momstera. From the warm greeting, plants to the left/right/up/down, and overall aesthetic, I knew I stumbled into something dangerously special. Customer service was professional and personable. The plant inventory changes but is always stocked with lush, healthy plants--some rare-ish ones too! The prices seem reasonable for the size and maturity of the plant. I've been buying plants from Charlene since the beginning of the pandemic. I never thought I'd become a plant person. It's a whole new world since inviting plants and Charlene into my life. Just officially became a plant mom!!!! (I know, I'm so late in the game!) Came to this lounge to check it out and was in love with the vibes the shop gave off immediately! There is always a DJ at the store playing the best jams that it literally made me dance around the store! I was welcomed by the shop owner, Charlene, and she gave me a wonderful tour of the place. I told her I had an interest in indoor plants but have ten million questions before I buy one. What plants are good for filtered lighting? What plants require less watering? What is a good starter plant? And so on! (I know, I'm so annoying) She answered all my questions and then some. She even told me that plants are good air filters! I was like "Yeesssss I need some then because you know COVID is crazy and you need that clean air!" To be honest, I still was unsure if I was going to get a plant or not just because I didn't know if I wanted that extra responsibility and I didn't know where to put one at home. Well I ended up buying a bunch of crystal bracelets instead. I actually learned A LOT from Charlene's daughter who also helps out there of what each crystal does. My son loved all the bracelets I got him and wore them immediately! So back to how I became a plant mom... I went home and immediately saw all the fake plants I got from Home Goods around my house and was so disgusted in them now after seeing all the real beautiful plants at Momstera. I contacted Charlene and asked her if she does personal shopping and YES SHE DOES!!! I sent her a picture of where I used to have a fake olive tree. I told her I wanted something that is good for first time plant mom and really tall! She recommended a snake plant and she told me she will find me the tallest and most beautiful snake plant ever! (Oh and a pot with stand to go with it because I wanted instant gratification) She did not disappoint and found me one two days later!! Talk about amazing customer service!
