Justin takes a lot of disrespect from residents but has always been very professional, always get the job done and goes over and above to get issues resolve.....it is very important to know..... your management company is as good as you make it to be and that starts with the board of directors that put all actions in motion. Working together is what makes us stronger and understand the needs of the community. People lash out because of frustration and COVID has not made it easy for any of us that's for sure.....No regrets at all for making the switch to Maple Ridge from my point of view.....I'm the president of our corporation and working with a our property manager Justin has been a great experience, I can honestly say I trust his options and looking forward to many years of working together to bring life back into our community and have its value continue to grow. ZERO professionalism, responses are "stock" and follow through is horrific. Basic property maintenance is non existent. Without boring you, for 2 years I have complained 6 times about units having tires/bathroom vanities, laundry sinks, and old satellite dishes in front or at the side of the units! ALL items are still there! 2 years later! Stock answer to my complaints "I will tell the landscapers"? (6 times I have heard this and when you attempt to escalate to higher ups he is dismissive. There is a lot more serious stuff but if they can't handle basic cleanliness that should give you a clue on how they handle everything else!

I was charged $30 and had to wait 30 days to receive the minutes. When the minutes arrived there was no mention of a fence or cost. Two weeks ago I notified Lauren Bowman, our Shabr representative, about damage to the front lawn of our townhouse. The damage was caused by a crew that was installing new wiring for TV reception. I included a photograph of the damage caused by a heavy piece of equipment. The result: Nada. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) rates Property Management Companies using the following scale: A+ A A- B+ B B- C+ C C-. I tracked 10 companies in our region. 7 of them received an A+ rating, 1 an A rating and 2 a C+ rating. Shabri was rated C+. ACMO (Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario) represents Condominium managers. ACMO's mission is to advance the quality and performance of condominium managers and management companies and the services that they provide.There are over 50 active condominium management firms that are members. Shabri is not a member. When I asked James North why Shabri was not a member he said that ACMO was no longer relevant. Conclusion: Shabri is NOT a viable choice for Condominium Management.
