But I think he missed an opportunity to say, "Or have you ever tried to get an insurance company to correct a billing mistake?" Last year I got married and after we got our marriage license and my new driver's license we took the items into Brett's office to have our files updated. Well, they didn't update them and come December 2011 our rates were much higher. When I called the second time the conversation went much like this: Me: I was wondering why my rates were raised Agent ,not Brett, Brett seldom does anything, including but not limited to answering the phone: Hmm, I'm not sure. We'll have to call the billing line. Billing: What seems to be the problem? Me: I just want to know why my rates have increased Billing: Why? Me: Because I want to know why I'm paying extra ~ After being on the three way call with billing, where they couldn't help, it became apparent this was going to be a nightmare. Turns out, they couldn't figure out the rate increase. Then this happened: Agent: Oh, okay you have three demerits. Me: What? How? Agent: Looks like something happened in September. Did something happen to your car? Me: No, my car is a perfect specimen of Volvo engineering. Nothing happened. Agent: Well it looks like you had something done to it. Did you get a ticket? Me: No, nothing happened, I didn't get a ticket! Agent: Did your husband? Me: NO! None of us! Look, we've called twice already. Can we figure this out? Agent: OH! It looks like your license is expired. Me: NO! It's not! I brought in my license after I got my new one to have my account updated. My husband and I came in with our marriage license as well. Agent: OH...well, the copy is probably in your file. It just wasn't updated. ~ So, one would think after this little discovery that everything would be fixed, and we would be refunded and our rates would go back down to normal. Jump ahead to February 2012, and wouldn't you know that we are STILL waiting on our refund for two months of being overcharged? I actually just called to ask what our account would be charged on Tuesday, and guess what? It's STILL NOT RIGHT! So, let's enter another month of waiting to get a refund, shall we. If you want to fill your life with senseless drama due to incompetence of another, or spend your days wondering when you'll get your money back for being overcharged, then I suggest you sign up for insurance with the Brett L. Turner agency. Hey, if you get into an accident it will be fun to see if they actually take care of you. It will be more fun than a barrel of monkeys, I'm sure! But personally, when I employ the services of somebody, I like to make sure they do their job. If you do happen to enlist Brett, I suggest you only talk to Chad. He's competent, and very understanding when you say, "No offense to your boss, but he's really bad at his job. No, you know what? I do mean offense to your boss! This is frustrating and this should have been fixed a while ago, and we should have been notified of the rate increase!" Again, I suggest you search for a place where saying things like that isn't necessary.

Crigler Insurance cancelled my insurance, in December, and did not have the courtesy to advise me…read more I was without insurance for over two months. My husband and I are separated. Apparently, they can cancel without justification. It was cancelled, not because of lack of payment, or an accident, or any other reason... it was cancelled just because... Highly unethical!!. Just maybe, it had to do with my husband's oldest son being a good friend of the owner of Crigler Insurance. Do not ever use Crigler Insurance for coverage... even after several phone calls asking them to fax proof of insurance to my new agent, they didn't have the decency to let me know they cancelled me, even when I spoke to them by phone.. It was not until my agent got ahold of Crigler, then she was told I was cancelled. Crigler did not have the decency to tell me they cancelled me when I talked to them. Crigler did NOTHING to right the situation... My agent called Mutual of Enumclaw and explained what took place... and got me coverage. Mutual of Enumclaw is an awesome company and they should drop Crigler Insurance and not associate their company with them. DO NOT USE CRIGLER INSURANCE. They are not a reputable, or a professional company.
