Opened the freezer and the stuff in the door was cold but not frozen. Back to grove ! Found a great French door unit and had them deliver it. In a couple days the delivery guys were here. They were great ! Took the old doors off the dead one and had it loaded in no time. Brought the new one in and set it up and showed me all the features! We had ice in couple hours. It's been several weeks and every thing is working amazing! Zane Kreidler was very helpful. But the entire staff including the delivery guys are great! Selection is great and prices are amazing!

Any questions or concerns I had went through a 3rd party vender, not Grove appliance. I didn't find this out until I questioned the "service" department at Grove appliance. The parts were ordered by the technician but I didn't know what they were, I wasn't told. The parts I found out later were being delivered to my house. So I didn't know what to expect or inspect to see if they were ok. I would've thought the service department at Grove Appliance would've handled it all. Then there were all the texts from 3rd party vender,then Grove Appliance, then a survey, then another survey. Things did not have to be that complicated. Really THEY DON'T. So to sum it up. The service guy was GREAT. The process is crazy.

I had come in to get a small bag to use for carrying extra stuff bought on my trip to Ohio. It was nine dollars. I was in line at 11am, and in conversation with a senior citizen, when the cashier, Todd, was rude when the nice lady simply asked if he had swiped her reward card. I was very sharp with her about it the coupons coming in her email. I don't care how a store chooses to issue coupons, but you need to be nice to your customer especially senior ones. It did not stop there. When I got up to the check our he was rude in telling me to swipe my debit card again. There is always a way to instruct someone nicely without being rude. I pay this pains salary my one purchase was probably what he makes in an hour. Rudeness ends loyalty. I am huge on loyalty to a store, I travel a lot, I will go to a chain to get what I know they have. That is why I came to BIG Lots, I knew I would find a cash for cheap. Todd, you just lost a customer. I hope it was with it.

PLEASE READ before you shop here. We recently had Troyer Furniture refinish and stain an Amish…read moredining room table (purchased elsewhere). Prior to having it refinished, the table top joint was tight as a drum, no gap. Upon receiving the refinished top, we now have a noticeable gap where the two sides meet. We were rudely informed that Troyer had nothing to do with the gap; wait a few days to see if the edges "moved" back into place. Totally unacceptable! They did not want to take it back to try and correct the gap - they could not guarantee that it could be made better. While the refinish/staining was beautiful, I do not feel that I should have to pay for a top that now will not close properly. Avoid Sales Manager Tim and Owner Matt; customer service is non-existent.
