The night before we were scheduled to leave town for 5 days, our heating system started making a horrible racket. Of course this is December, and of course it's supposed to freeze the following week. I immediately started looking for a heating and air company that had good ratings and one of the first to pop up was Larry's Heating and Cooling. I called first thing in the morning and they were able to get someone scheduled to come out the same afternoon. The technician, David, called when he was on his way. He arrived on time, was extremely personable and professional. He is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced in his field. He diagnosed the problem in less than 10 minutes and took the time to show me what the issue was and how it needed to be repaired. Because he needed to come back with a part to get things fixed and the weather was going to cooperate, we scheduled for a week later when we returned from our trip. The day he said he'd be back, he showed up as scheduled and in a couple hours he fixed our unit. Temps dropped below freezing the next day, but our heat worked perfectly so we didn't care. They installed a new coil in my indoor unit in Aug 2022 for $2k+, wasn't cooling and had lost gas in April 2024. They did a service call and said my coil was leaking, sent an estimate for full unit replacement only about a week later after I chased them and asked for a warranty repair - they said no warranty after 12 months. Got a second opinion, the SKILLED and HONEST other technician from a different company went to the attic, 15 minutes later said the coil wasn't leaking, but there was a plastic cap that wasn't tight and had oil residue on it - they replaced and tightened the cap, refilled the gas and everything is fixed for a fraction of the price of a new unit. This is my experience with Larry's heating & air, why I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone else. I gave them an opportunity to explain to me what happened and why the problem was misdiagnosed, but haven't heard back from them. read more

said they were coming that evening in the morning . waited till 5:30 pm. called to make sure they were coming. they said they were. never came. now here it is on Saturday and can't get ahold of anyone while my 73 year old mother and my kids suffer in the heat. Piss poor imho. read more

My mom's heat wasn't heating properly on Christmas day and the forecast was for the upper teens later that night. I saw the positive reviews for Larry's Heating and Cooling so I called first thing the following morning thinking that I would be lucky to get someone out before the following Monday since I was was calling on a Saturday the day after Christmas. To my pleasant surprise not only did Bob come out the same day he also diagnosed the problem and repaired the unit fast at a very reasonable price. They worked on my AC unit last year and it still isn't working correctly and they will not answer the phone, when they worked on it last year they told me they would need to come back a few more times and keep blowing it out because it's building up too much pressure and they just stopped coming out and will not answer the phone when I call and they charged me around a $1000.as far as i'm concerned they ripped me off and I would not recommend them to anyone unless they want to get ripped off. read more

I wish I could give this a zero score. We have been waiting for 3 days for someone to call us back to schedule a tech to fix the AC and no response from this company. They won't even answer their phone. I can see why they don't list the company address on their website, so people don't go to the business and try to schedule an appointment. We had AC trouble and read good reviews about Larry's. The technician, David, called back soon after we left a voicemail. He made an effort to get to the our house that same day. He fixed the probably quickly, explained the problem clearly and the price was extremely reasonable! We plan to call Larry's anytime we need work done in the future. read more

I do not recommend this place for servicing your AC. I paid them a ton of money to come out and fix my heat and all they were doing was flipping a breaker back on and seemed to be milking the clock. First attempt took almost 3 hours to see a breaker was flipped. Next time they come out because it flipped again they said our breaker box can't support it... Another 2 hours labor to flip a breaker back on. I call a local electrician and he spots it in 15 mins and says that the breaker wire was loose. Never had an issue since. I only wish I had chosen another ac service company from the start. I should have know better when they first installed our emergency heat wiring cuase they said it needed a thicker wire(more money), which sadly to say still does not work. But I learned from this mistake, don't let them take advantage of you like they did me. read more

Honest and quick to respond. My A/C wasn't working. When I called they said they were really backed up and would be there as soon as possible. They still made it out the same say. Not only fixed the A/C but they were honest about what had to be done to get it working and what could wait. They will always get my business! read more

Larry's Heating & Air was recommended by a plumber who did some work at my house. I called them for a seasonal check on my HVAC and to turn on the pilot light for my fireplace. David was the service man, and he was very professional and courteous. He called before he came to my house. The work was done correctly and quickly. Disappointed. Long time home owner of mutliple homes. This company came out and serviced an a/c unit to make sure it was working properly. Inexpensive visit but stated they cleaned the interior and exterior coils. there was a strong musty odor that could have been resolved by actually cleaning the coils. unit was given a clear working order. after pulling apart the combined gas/ electric unit. i found the blower venting easily 1/4 of its total volume of air out of the furnace into open air, the condensate drain line did not have a trap and was sucking in hot air, the bottom pan was rusted and all the insulation in the unit itself was full of mold. the Evaporator had a thick black slime mold in it. Inexpensive price equated to poor quality workmanship it seems, and / or untrue documentation on receipt. i have removed interior rust, pulled the blower motor and cleaned it, sprayed and disinfected the coil, painted the rusted portions, pulled the insulation and cleaned it, reinstalled it and taped it for better sealing and condensation protection. installed a trap on the condensate drain, removed condenser fan and cleaned out 3 inches of debris, and i taped up and seal furnace side so the blower does not evacuate cooled air outside. my electric usage dropped in half from saturday until today ( 2 days later) and my unit kicks on much less, smell is gone, and the house feels comfortable. I would have rather paid someone to just replace a unit considering the work i have put forth. i cannot trust Larry's heating and air conditioning at this point based on poor documentation of work performed when unit clearly need a lot of work. read more
