If you call here, you will want to jump through the phone, and wring the receptionist's neck. That sounds so extreme, but that's how I felt after getting off the phone with her, and then again having to deal with her when I checked in for my appointment. I didn't appreciate her eye rolls, and under her breath sighs. I was also surprised by her behavior, because she is an older women you would think she would be more professional. The intake nurse was so nice, and helpful. So very kind when taking x-rays of my foot and vitals. Then Dr Dickerson came in and took a look at my x-rays for just a few seconds and said your foot is just fine. I said "Why does it hurt then, it feels like it's broken, especially when I walk." He said he didn't know, but if it continues to hurt come back, and then that was it. I saw him for maybe for 3 or 4 minutes at the most. Weeks later I get a bill from my insurance company saying I owe another $25 for my co-pay. Why did the rude receptionist not charge the correct co-pay in the first place, obviously she isn't very good at her job.

He has a personal policy. Apparently he comes before his patients. To be clear, I am 69, a Prof at UC Berkeley and a CEO of a tech company. I do not take pain meds, and my previous doctor from the same office left and so I was stuck with this guy. My previous doc did prescribe me a few days worth each time for the past year and she was so amazing. We even spoke about pain med and he said he would take care of me. Two hours at the pharmacy. Then I learned he prescribed some Gabbappentin (sp) but the clown even got that wrong! He prescirbed the wrong kind and needed to do that over again! And we went back and forth (he had left early for the day). I went to the ER last night. That is how much pain I was in. The ER! They prescribed me a pain med even though it was against polict because they knew I needed the help. God bless U of Utah! The ER! enough for one day. They were confident my doc would help. Last time I took this medicine was 7 months ago! So then he says if I want he will refer me to someone else! Everyone knows no other doc will helpo me unless they are the one who does the procedure. He wanted to mess with me. What? After a steroid injection it is common knowledge their can be a flare up and that can last for 2-3 days. It's tolerable during the day but I will be up all night in agony for the next IDK 1-3 nights. I have never written a bad review in my life. This guy is is smug and as far as I am concerned he broke his sacred oath to tale care of me. I will be pursuing this matter legally given I will be up now for a day or three and will have plenty of time.

I would not recommend Dr. Auger…read more At my initial visit, she was friendly and seemed knowledgeable, so I trusted her recommendations. In hindsight, that trust was misplaced. She recommended custom orthotics and had me sign an agreement stating that if my insurance did not cover them, I would be responsible for the full cost, about $350. I agreed, assuming this was standard and appropriate coming from an in-network provider. Later, I learned that because Dr. Auger is contracted with my insurance, she should have only been allowed to charge me around $180 for the orthotics. Despite this, she did not honor that pricing. While I understand I signed the agreement, it felt unethical for an in-network provider not to follow insurance guidelines. When the "custom" orthotics arrived, I was charged an additional $80 simply to pick them up. The visit consisted of walking back to an exam room and placing them in my shoes briefly, no fitting, adjustment, or meaningful evaluation. After wearing the orthotics for several months, my foot pain actually worsened. When I contacted the office to schedule an adjustment, I was told I could make another appointment. Given my previous experiences, I called ahead to confirm whether there would be an additional charge. At that point, I was told Dr. Auger would refer me out to another provider. Between the high costs, lack of improvement, and being referred elsewhere for follow-up care, this experience was extremely disappointing. I ultimately spent nearly $600 and months in pain. I hope sharing this helps others make a more informed decision.
