I brought Diamond Castle my mother's vintage ring; an irreplaceable heirloom with deep sentimental value. I asked for two small stones to be replaced and the band resized. They accepted the job with confidence and never mentioned any concerns about working with a delicate vintage setting. Within just a few days of receiving the ring back, it fell apart completely. The center stone came loose, several prongs failed, and the setting collapsed. This was not due to age or wear. It was the direct result of poor workmanship. What makes this worse is that if Diamond Castle had simply said the work was beyond their capabilities, I would have absolutely accepted that professional judgment. I would have happily kept the ring safely in my jewelry box and treasured it as it was. Instead, they took on a job they clearly weren't equipped for, and now I don't even know if this precious piece can be salvaged. They did refund me for the work, but no refund can repair the damage done to something so personally meaningful. A reputable jeweler should be honest about their limitations especially when handling sentimental or vintage jewelry. I strongly caution anyone considering trusting Diamond Castle with important or irreplaceable pieces.
