The tow took longer than expected, so they were closed when the truck got there. When we called the next morning, they already had it apart and had a good idea of what it needed. The parts were delivered the next day, and we got the truck and got on our way. They also loaned us (free) a car to drive around town for the couple days we were stranded there. Very decent folks, all of them we interacted with. They saved us when we needed a save.

Douglas Tire was trying to charge us an extra 240 for new bolts that we didn't need. And by the way if we actually needed the new bolts they were only 60 on Amazon. It's very sad they're ripping people off and being so dishonest. My husband did not request to set the toe on the alignment and he was not told about the alignment charge until after the fact. Douglas Tire was trying to charge in full for an alignment they weren't even going to do. The staff were the unprofessional ones that were not answering our questions and being dishonest to long standing customers. Anyone would have got upset over everything that took place....... Went in for an alignment and found out they couldn't do a full alignment for reasons that didn't make any sense. They had it in the garage for an hour and did not explain to my husband what was going on. Instead they were going to charge for a full alignment price which they did not do the full alignment and they only made a few adjustments instead. This is really disappointing that they were trying to over charge. We always trusted them before this but not anymore.

I searched Yelp and found that Moonlight Auto was not too far from the location of the car, so I called and spoke with Brad. After discussing what I needed Brad gave me a quote and then completed the inspection. I was disappointed by the result of the inspections but extremely happy that Brad did such a thorough, honest and unbiased inspection and saved me from making a purchase that I feel I would have regretted. WORLD AUTO IS DECEPTIVE AND DECEITFUL…read more World Auto sold a car knowing of an unsafe condition that would cost them to fix but hid it. The car's airbag light was on so they said they took it to Woodhouse Ford South to get fixed but couldn't get in, so we trusted them and purchased. A Ford dealer in Omaha found the airbag sensory had detected a collision and had to be replaced. We became suspicious and pulled out paperwork from the purchase and noticed a hand-written note had been added to the AS-IS/NO Warranty saying "The customer has been made aware of the airbag light and has assumed responsibility for all repairs needed". This had not been on the warranty prior to signing. We signed the back, but the front was hidden from us. We contacted Woodhouse Ford South where they said they brought the vehicle. We found out it had actually been in and a $1000 estimate given to World Auto. World Auto was deceitful in not revealing the handwritten warranty note and they knew of the $1,000 repair.

Stranded on the side of the highway in a cloud of dust and debris, I finally got a chance to use that AAA RV insurance platinum membership. They rang up Benefiel for us and let me tell you, those guys rolled up on us and we were extremely happy to see them. It did take a bit for them to get to us, but that's only because they were strategizing on the ultimate highway repair----on-the-fly---get those vacationers off the road as quickly as possible----temporary fix!!!! Equipped with a 4x10 block and a chain saw and a CHAIN, they got us back on the road headed for their shop. They assessed what needed to be done quickly, ordered the leaf spring for us, and had someone go pick up the part the next day. While all this was going on and we were trying to figure out where to stay for the night, they referred us to an awesome trailer park with cabins that were a godsend for the kids and me to crash for the night. The tow truck driver was very helpful and kind in getting her towed somewhere that would be able to get her back on the road. He walked her through finding the drop box, filling out the information and everything. We are so appreciative that someone could help her as we were 3 hours away.
