This is the closest stop to the Toyota Music Factory, the Irving Convention Center, the Los Colinas apartments, the deceptively named Marriot Dallas Los Colinas, and an easy walk once you learn to look at a real map instead of following Google Maps walking. There's an overpriced convenience store right by the station. In fact everything around this station is very overpriced, so it's a useful station if you're staying in one of the nearby hotels. DART is so affordable, get a day pass to get to the museum district in Dallas, and along the Orange line there are many much more affordable better restaurants than in and around the hotels. Also, this is the way to get to and from the airport though no locals, hospitality workers, or travel guides seem to know about it. From here, right into Terminal A, no hassle at all for a fraction of the Uber price.

Aren't they suppose to "address" that sort of anger displayed by people? I felt as if we were in danger. And she just turned her back. What the fuck is she getting paid for? To look pretty! I searched my purse for the pepper spray. I also carry a stunt gun should I need it. I am a security guard. I would have gone up to him at least to try and calm him down. So as not to give him the chance to take it out on anyone there. But she went to hide. I kept looking for her, I couldn't see her around anymore. How fucking disappointing from Dart. This stop is well lit and has plenty of parking. It also has busses that run to the airport. Even better, the prices have recently dropped making it a more cost effective option. If you are seeing a game or show at the AAC, there is no better way to get there. Also your pass will allow you to ride on the light rails, if the main stops aren't close enough to your destination.

1/28/23 (trip date) Just for the experience and most especially accompanying my dear friend on the…read morejourney to play chaperone to Milo. My friend's son, Milo is 14 and he loves trains. He's earned a special treat for the awards in school. We bought the tickets for a day pass. Luckily I had cash because the booth was not accepting any other form of payment. Everything was copacetic until the return trip and it brought back memories when I rode the bus in the greater Los Angeles area. Waaaay back, when it was the RTD (now the MTA). My friends & I called it Rough, Tough & Dirty because.....it was. Milo was oblivious to the cab surroundings, just looking out & enjoying the ride. All the while I was not breathing through my nose, trying not to touch anything. Folks, I felt like I needed a nice, long cleansing/disinfecting shower thereafter. Thankfully we were not accosted. Our journey lasted about a good 10-12 minutes. As long as Milo was a happy camper, our journey was complete. The wait for each way didn't take more than 10 minutes in total.

Fortunately these days we have a decent mass transit system in the Dallas area and most of the big metro areas like Houston. However, Texas is a car culture on steroids and I'll admit I don't use mass transit that often. Usually when I do it's to travel to the State Fair close to downtown(highly recommended). I can say from experience after riding the system many times, it works, I'm glad we have it and hope its expansion continues. Until then, ill continue using Parker Station to hop on the train.

There are busses coming and founding and the train line runs north and south (Red Line) through this station. The parking lot is fairly large as well It is always maintained nicely and the parking lot is very well lit in the evenings. I will try to attach some pictures, but the day I was there it was raining, so the photographs would not have turned out well.

This is a cool little station, served by DART Rail's Green Line, and is located at street level. It…read morelooks brand new, and the adjacent apartments/condos are nicely landscaped - so you've got some greenery to look at while waiting for your bus or train. This is the jumping off point if you're taking the bus on to Galleria Dallas, Brookhaven College (Route 488), Dr Pepper StarCenter - Farmers Branch, Farmers Branch City Hall, Farmers Branch Historical Park, or Sam Moon Center Dallas (Route 544). Buses 400, 488, 531, 535, and 544 all serve the Farmer's Branch Station. There's also a parking lot that accommodates some 237 cars making this a great spot to catch the train into downtown for work or play.
