Aren't they suppose to "address" that sort of anger displayed by people? I felt as if we were in danger. And she just turned her back. What the fuck is she getting paid for? To look pretty! I searched my purse for the pepper spray. I also carry a stunt gun should I need it. I am a security guard. I would have gone up to him at least to try and calm him down. So as not to give him the chance to take it out on anyone there. But she went to hide. I kept looking for her, I couldn't see her around anymore. How fucking disappointing from Dart. I hope to purchase an automobile so we can minimize the dangers from people who get "that" angry! Thx for having your patrions backs dar Dart is pure BULLSHIT!

They do have ticket machines that take, cash and credit cards. Two hints for the uninitiated. First: Eastbound is towards Dallas, West bound is towards Fort Worth. Second: Homeless do hang out in the area and are sometimes vocal. Usually harmless, but do keep your guard up. Overall it works for your transportation needs.

The station is literally on-campus, so you can get to and from North Lake without having to battle traffic. There is also a medium-sized Park 'N Ride lot, where you can park and hop on the train to get where you are going.

Our most recent flight transfer through Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) was an…read moreextremely upsetting experience with TSA. Although we both have Global Entry, we were randomly selected to go through regular security screening. At first, we had no reason to question it. When we first approached the TSA PreCheck personnel, she told us that our digital boarding passes did not show PreCheck and that we needed to go through regular security. To save time, we went to the American Airlines desk and requested paper boarding passes. When we brought them back, the TSA personnel told us that she had just learned that we had been "randomly" marked for regular security screening. We then went to the regular security checkpoint, which had a much longer line and took approximately four times longer than the PreCheck line. When we finally reached the metal detectors, however, we were instructed to line up for the X-ray scanner instead. The woman directly in front of us was allowed to go through the regular metal detector, while we were directed to the scanner. Then, people behind us were also sent to the scanner, while other passengers were allowed to continue through the metal detector. At that point, we began noticing a very disturbing pattern. The people being held back and directed to the scanner appeared to be African American, Asian, or Hispanic, while the passengers being allowed through the metal detector appeared to be white. We understand that TSA screening can be random, but seeing this pattern unfold right in front of us was extremely difficult to ignore. It felt like blatant racial profiling. After this experience, I now question whether we were truly "randomly" selected in the first place. We have taken more than 10 flights since getting Global Entry, and this was the first time we were ever "randomly" selected for regular security screening. We genuinely believed it was simply a random screening until we experienced what happened at the security checkpoint. Because of the additional screening, we lost valuable time during our connection. We had only about 1 1/2 hours between flights, and by the time we finally cleared security, the boarding closing time printed on our boarding passes had just passed. We panicked and ran to the nearest American Airlines desk. Thankfully, a staff member checked our flight and kindly assured us that the flight was delayed and that boarding had just started. We then ran from Terminal D to Terminal B, including taking the airport train, and barely made it in time for boarding. We had no opportunity to use any of the airport amenities, restaurants, or shops, so unfortunately, we cannot comment on those. What we can comment on is how upsetting and unacceptable it was to feel that we were treated differently because of our race. No traveler should have to experience this. I sincerely hope DFW and TSA will look into how passengers are being selected and directed through these screening lines.

My family and I lost our flight to Aspen, Colorado simply because TSA had only ONE slow officer…read morechecking a long line of passengers. If you can, please replace these officers with robots instead. At 08:45 I got in line and 09:48 we were checked finally. Also American airlines gate (E 32) was 4 miles away, I am sure AA sold our ticket with profit and we had to be rerouted all over the country. Customer service was horrible and didn't seem to care at all about this situation or their jobs in general. Customer service lied to us about the destination we were rerouted to, said it was only a 48 min. drive to our destination, was actually 3 hours away in the dark and had to drive through the icey mountainous roads, and pay over$300 for a rental car. Putting my family in danger.... Was not compensated the money either for the previous tickets. Never going to Dallas ( the construction nightmare city of Texas) or use American Airlines or DFW ever again. Horrible service and experience.

Thank goodness for Skylink!…read more If you ever traveled through Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) you would be amazed at the shear size of this airport. This morning when I was catching my flight home, I swear my flight was leaving from Terminal C, but when I checked in at American Airlines at DFW, my actual flight was leaving from Terminal A. What to do??? Skylink my friends....... Just watch for the signs within the airport terminal for the Skylink, take the escalator up to the top of the airport terminal and jump on the orange rail thingy. The Skylink rail car does have a few seats, but it's mostly for riders to stand. Using Skylink rail is a very convenient way to get around this massive airport, especially if you're in a rush to navigate between the airport terminals.
