i ordered flores from this place as i have a bussiness they used to have the best flowers now they have freezer burned flowers and they send pure crap. i would not recomend them at all flowers in the street are 10 times better than what they sell. they are also extreamly expensive and not what they used to be. read more

I mean... i thought they wanted to make money, but they question my purchase. They are also known for hiking up their price at least 20% around the holidays. My friend Lisa and Iris had been going to this shop for years, back when the owner sold out of her cart that was set up in front of La Carreta Restaurant. 11 roses for $11. They last about a week. We needed flowers at the last minute for our mother's party and I went looking for whatever I could find. Tania was very helpful and although the party was that same night, she was able to put together six center pieces and one large arrangement. The flowers were beautiful, so much better than I had expected. Everyone at the party loved the flower choices and how well they blended together. They were a great addition to the celebration. The store front is small, but what they create rivals those big very expensive shop. The service was thorough, and very pleasant. I can't imagine them being as rude as someone said they were. I gave the shop 1 star because 0 was not an option. I purchased flowers to make flower arrangements for my baby shower. I purchased a substantial amount of flowers, unfortunately two of the 6 hydrangeas I purchased died the following day. When I called the establishment and explained what happened, the daughter of the owner accused me of having killed them. I went ahead and explained that I had followed the instructions they had given me but she refused to listen. She went ahead and told me she was too busy to speak to me because she had other customers to attend to then proceeded to hang up on me. I was shocked as one would imagine, I have never encountered such poor customer services. I have been a loyal customer since the shop opened but I will never again step foot in their establishment, I hope you won't either! read more

This place was my go to for flower needs until I decided to trust them with my mothers service (May She Rest In Peace). I placed the order for one simple arrangement 4 days before her mass. The service started at 11:30am, they advised it would be ready by 10:30.. I arrive at 11 to pick up my mothers flowers, and long behold the arrangement was never done; They started putting it together after i arrived, I told them I'd placed it four days ago, was guaranteed it would be ready at 10:30 am I showed up at 11, for them to 30mins before my own deceased mothers mass/service to then start working on it?!? If that isn't absolute disrespect and lack of consideration and compassion not giving any importance to their customers order or needs knowing the situation it's like adding insult to injury arriving late with my mothers ashes, her pictures, while everyone was at the church waiting needless to say I will NO LONGER support this business, as the gentleman's calmness and lack of integrity while he was putting my mothers flowers together is something I would never wish upon anyone. It's simple customer service, if this day wasn't difficult enough as it is already to have to deal with such horrible service and lack of consideration or compassion, While I'm PAYING them for this... Extremely disappointed, IF this is how they treat a customer under the situation I was in I can imagine how much they care about all the others. On Feb 1, 2015 I stopped to purchase some roses. The lady at the register was telling the customer in line to write a positive review and take it to her and she would give him a 30%-40% discount on his next purhase. When my turn came up at the register, without asking her; she stated the price had increase due to Valentine's Day. However we are still 13 days away and the roses I purcahsed were not red. I didn't even care about the price, due to the fact, they do have high quality rose's. However the way they try to manipulate the prices, and form objections on prices and satisfy their rating, simply shows unfair business practice. And their intention to scam the customer, competition, and ratings. Regardless of the quality products they offer. They do not even have signs showing the price of rose's or any flower arrangement. I am Hispanic and so are them. They should understand business practice in the State's, not to go around and cut corners. They are only to blame for hardship on customers, vendors, and the competition. I will not buy from them again, regardless of their quality product. read more

I called last Sunday Las Flores de la Carreta on Bird Road and 82nd Ave. to order a flower arrangement for a loved one who passed away the night before. The lady who answered the phone said that the person who made the arrangements was not in the shop but she had an arrangement that was made the night before that was very beautiful. I said to her that it was ok with me as long as the flowers were fresh. She assured me that they were fresh, that they make the arrangement the night before so that the roses open up fully by the time they are delivered. That night at the viewing I requested that the flowers be taken to the home of the widow. The following Monday, the roses were wilting. Some of them completely dead. When I called the shop to let them know hat they had sold flowers to me that were old, the lady was incredibly rude and insulting. She told me that only crazy people like me take flowers that belong to a dead person home. I was only asking for her to replace the arrangement that I paid $107 for that did not even last two days. This is definitely the last time I will be ordering flowers from Las Flores de la Carreta on Bird Road, and I will make sure that my friends and family know about this. read more
