We followed all the watering instructions exactly, which ended up costing us more in water bills than the sod itself. Still, we were committed to keeping it healthy. Unfortunately, within just 30 days, four separate areas of the new sod began to die. We contacted the company, and Eva came out to assess. Her suggestion was to "let it go" and that the grass would eventually fill in. That never happened. Since then, my mother has called Eva repeatedly over the last nine months. Eva often said she'd stop by, but rarely followed through. On the rare occasion she did, she offered vague promises--like bringing in a professional to test our soil--which never materialized. That was over two weeks ago, and we haven't heard from her since. To be clear, my yard is beautiful overall, and the majority of the grass looks great. But those four patches have been dead since the first month, and the company has consistently failed to follow up or stand by their guarantee. I understand that sometimes sod doesn't take--that happens. But the lack of accountability, poor communication, and dismissive attitude from Brothers and Sons Landscaping is what's unacceptable. If customer service matters to you, I suggest looking elsewhere.

After we saw it, we told him we wanted to make some changes to the plan (modify the colors, the plants, remove the boulders, see how we might lower the cost), he became rude and told us he had worked a long time on the design plan and if he'd have known he wouldn't have given it that much time and energy. We were shocked he didn't even want to discuss changes. He just kept saying, "if I'd only known." On top of this, he told us it would be months until they could do our landscaping project, and when we asked if it could be sooner, he huffed and became belligerant, telling us that was not possible, and if we went with another company that could do it sooner, that company must not be any good. Seriously! Talk about ego! Does this guy not realize its OUR home and OUR money? He needs an extended course in Customer Service. We just got up and walked out of the office. We explained that we did not have the payment yet as it had not been transferred into the account we were paying them with. He firmly stated that they needed payment right then. The job was just started, we were not contacted that they were coming that day. My husband ran back in the house to write a check and asked them not to cash it until the next week. They agreed. The job was supposed to be completed that day. When we got home later that evening we noticed there were several things that had not been completed. In the meantime our check did clear. What followed was 2 weeks of bad communication and promises broken. They would say they would be at our house at a certain time and day and then not show up, and not text or call with a reason. We always had to call them. Finally my husband got pretty direct with the owner and told him how disappointed we were with the situation and that he just wanted the job completed. He was gaslighted a bit by the owner. The next day the owner finally completed the work. For this we appreciate that he finally honored his word. This company touts their faith as the backbone of their business. The landscape stonework was done very nicely. Unfortunately, 3 of the 7 bushes they planted died. We are just happy to be done with the situation and suggest to the owner and his supervisor's to just communicate with their future customers. That is pretty easy in a time of texting and cell phone technology.

They cut a tree down for me and grinded the trunk which was fine. The second tree one of the trunk that was leaning was supposed to be cut and the rest of the tree cleaned up. We were quoted 40-60k to have 2 big trees removed and some bushes lol, stay far away from them. Looking at the reviews I can see I'm not the only one who he attempted to bully.
