If you value even a minute of your time, you should absolutely avoid this place. I have an 8 AM Appointment. Somehow they open late at 8:05 AM and I don't get seen till 8:45 AM. I mean how is that even possible? I am the first freaking appointment. The doctors here are solid. They may go quickly, make a few mistakes. But hey what can you say? They are sure as heck better than the absolutely awful front desk staff. I mean I can honestly say that this staff was hired off back pages or something. They are truly the worst. I come in for my first appointment. I called the day before to confirm and gave my insurance. I specifically asked if an emailed copy of my insurance card was ok & they said, "YES". Someone, please tell me when I get there how they demand a physical copy lol. They set me a follow-up appointment, but did not even do it! I come in the following 2 weeks later for the appointment and I am not even scheduled. She's like no, you don't have an appointment. I show her the CARD SHE MADE FOR MY APPOINTMENT. She promptly makes me a new one and I am seen 1.5 hours later than my appointment time. Dude, I can't even make this up, they're so bad. Secondly, I am prescribed an RX. Cool, I ask them to send the Rx to the CVS literally 3 min drive away. Mircacoulosy, CVS NEVER GETS MY RX! So I call back, am on hold for 25 minutes where I am then hung up on. So hey, I call back again. She says we will send over the new RX. But it'll take 3 days... COOL AT LEAST I WON'T BE HUNG UP ON AGAIN! I go in for another apt, I mean dude c',mon. THEY MISTAKENLY FORGET TO TAKE ALL BLOOD SAMPLES. THEY MAKE ME COME IN A WHOLE ANOTHER TIME TO TAKE 2 FREAKING VILES OF BLOOD. They are incompetent to say the least & please like I said, If you value your time. Avoid this place at all costs.

I originally signed up for a package for American Laser Med Spa via Groupon based on a…read morerecommendation from a friend; she regrets sending me there and look, don't do it, it's a trap. You get six sessions, clearly not enough time to see any kind of results thus they have you sign up for more sessions or hey, maybe you want a second area done for a discounted price. So I signed up for additional sessions which I fully committed to. Note, I live on the East side so it was a significant event when I would make these appointments to travel to the West side. Her name was Angie and she worked the front desk. I must have booked an appointment every day for at least a week as she'd call me to let me know that she had to cancel the appointment due to whatever reason. My favorite cancellation was when I walked into the Med Spa and she said she had cancelled my appointment, without any notification, phone call, text message, email. Every time you book, you get a text and an email reminder and for cancellations from the Med Spa, they call you to reschedule. It was such frustrating process and then when I eventually did get seen, the results of the laser hair removal were less than ideal. After Angie quit, there was a different front desk girl working every time I made an appointment or who called me to cancel and reschedule due to the machine going down. The machine went down regularly. COVID-19 didn't help as it delayed the treatment for about 6 months until they figured out how they were going to treat customers. But that was most businesses during that time. But if you needed to pause your treatment for any reason, you couldn't unless you were pregnant. That's it. I'm active duty military and I asked if there was a deployment clause in case, I had to deploy...nope. Nothing along those lines. Especially in a military town such as El Paso with Fort Bliss and White Sands, you'd think they'd have something to help adjust if that were the case. Nope, not military friendly at all. I received laser hair removal for two years and I saw more pigment treatment rather than hair removal. To this day, I still have the same amount of hair that I did originally in the places that were treated. I understand that every person's reaction to the treatment will be different and yet, I was thoroughly disappointed with the treatment I received. And yes, they take photos to show the progress of your treatment. I look at the photos like woah, what really changed? Clearly, I could keep going and going about how poor of a laser treatment med spa this is but I'll curb it to this. Overall, my experience was lackluster and I was significantly disappointed throughout my experience. April was the only highlight of the experience as she was helpful and patient. Bless her. But lets be real, don't waste your money by going here. Do the research and find a place that'll take care of you unlike American Laser Med Spa.
