I originally signed up for a package for American Laser Med Spa via Groupon based on a recommendation from a friend; she regrets sending me there and look, don't do it, it's a trap. You get six sessions, clearly not enough time to see any kind of results thus they have you sign up for more sessions or hey, maybe you want a second area done for a discounted price. So I signed up for additional sessions which I fully committed to. Note, I live on the East side so it was a significant event when I would make these appointments to travel to the West side. Her name was Angie and she worked the front desk. I must have booked an appointment every day for at least a week as she'd call me to let me know that she had to cancel the appointment due to whatever reason. My favorite cancellation was when I walked into the Med Spa and she said she had cancelled my appointment, without any notification, phone call, text message, email. Every time you book, you get a text and an email reminder and for cancellations from the Med Spa, they call you to reschedule. It was such frustrating process and then when I eventually did get seen, the results of the laser hair removal were less than ideal. After Angie quit, there was a different front desk girl working every time I made an appointment or who called me to cancel and reschedule due to the machine going down. The machine went down regularly. COVID-19 didn't help as it delayed the treatment for about 6 months until they figured out how they were going to treat customers. But that was most businesses during that time. But if you needed to pause your treatment for any reason, you couldn't unless you were pregnant. That's it. I'm active duty military and I asked if there was a deployment clause in case, I had to deploy...nope. Nothing along those lines. Especially in a military town such as El Paso with Fort Bliss and White Sands, you'd think they'd have something to help adjust if that were the case. Nope, not military friendly at all. I received laser hair removal for two years and I saw more pigment treatment rather than hair removal. To this day, I still have the same amount of hair that I did originally in the places that were treated. I understand that every person's reaction to the treatment will be different and yet, I was thoroughly disappointed with the treatment I received. And yes, they take photos to show the progress of your treatment. I look at the photos like woah, what really changed? Clearly, I could keep going and going about how poor of a laser treatment med spa this is but I'll curb it to this. Overall, my experience was lackluster and I was significantly disappointed throughout my experience. April was the only highlight of the experience as she was helpful and patient. Bless her. But lets be real, don't waste your money by going here. Do the research and find a place that'll take care of you unlike American Laser Med Spa. read more

I used a Groupon I bought for 6 sessions as well as added on another area. After just one treatment I am noticing decreased hair growth and more overall smoothness! I am so excited! read more

American Laser Med Spa is the ONLY place I will ever go or recommend for others to go for any hair removal services. Not only am I seeing amazing results after just 2 sessions, their customer service is PHENOMENAL. They truly treat you like an old friend that is coming in for your treatment and genuinely care about your results. Corinna is the sweetest person I have met in a long time and she knows the lasers and the products they use inside and out. I have sent all of my friends and family their way and will continue to tell anyone who will listen about them!! If you are self conscious about any extra hair you may have, let them help you. Talk about a huge disappointment! My entire experience has been horrific. I even had a board certified surgeon look at my treated areas and he had nothing nice to say about this facility or my treatments. I've been burned, scarred and I have no results. I've been receiving laser hair treatment for 2 years and I haven't seen any results. The first tech I had was soon fired after my first treatment, the second one was the manager who said she didn't know what she was doing and now has also been fired. Third tech, fired. Today the new tech said everyone in the entire office has been fired. Wow! They can't keep a knowledgeable staff. Don't bother calling corporate. I had to file 3 complaints to even get one call back and when I did, she extremely discourteous and unapologetic for any of my complaints. Today, she called me a liar, said she'd refund me for her employees being untrained and selling me the wrong package, but when I accepted the refund, she threw a child like tantrum and quickly said she wouldn't refund me. She said she'd only refund me if I continued treatment. No thanks, I've been burned and scarred enough by this "spa". Bipolar, rude, unprofessional and a total lack of customer service. I walked out on her while we was talking but made sure to tell her one last employee that she probably should find a better place to work, this place is on a downward spiral and fast. read more

Avoid this "spa" at all cost unless you want them to dip into your bank account without permission. I have been charged over $700 in one month. I am not even the client. My daughter was the one going here. I tried paying a ONE TIME payment of $144 and this is what happened. I have reported them for fraud. Also, I'm on my way to file a police report. There are too many reputable spas in El Paso to go to. Trust me~go to one of them. The corporate lady is rude and accusatory. Don't bother calling Amarillo for help either. American Laser in El Paso does not deserve any star. I had a horrible experience in that place. I was getting foto facial to remove block spots and after 10 treatments my face looks worst. I spent a lot of money on that treatment and I feel very frustrated because they do not care. When you go to that place you almost never see the Doctor and the people who work there seem unprofessional. If you are thinking to get any treatment do not go to America laser in El Paso because it will be a waste of money. Also it will be a great waste of time and your results will be worst just like mine results. read more
