I was in the corporate world for 40 years before retiring and understand that schedules get altered. But there was no one that came to me to say he is unavoidably detained (or whatever the excuse was). If he doesn't respect his Customers enough to at least make some semblance of an effort to honor an appointment, then I don't trust that he wil be conscientious about my eye care either. P.S. It's been four days and I have not received a call from him or the office apologizing for the delay or asking if I would like to reschedule (reinforcing my thought that they don't care if they lose a Customer). She takes the time to make sure any questions I have get answered. I've seen her husband a couple of times also and his bedside manner is just like hers. The doctor is very quick and you mainly deal with the nurses and office staff. For follow up they're pretty straight to the point and make sure you are healing well. From start to finish we had the consult, the surgery, the day after surgery check up, the other eye surgery, the other eye day after check up, and a week after that the last post surgery check up. I really liked the office and my mom has has no issues. There are a lot of negative reviews and I think if they went over the documents in more detail about the hazards of eye surgery they would have less bad reviews... but for us, knowing what this was going to entail? They told me that I needed to do all of the normal eye exam tests before the doctor would see me. I refused since I already had an eye exam back in August with my regular eye doctor. They refused to let the doctor see me for the chalazion unless I did all the tests. I argued that the tests were not necessary since 1. I already had them this year and 2 I was there for the chalazion only and would not be returning for any other treatments. I'm guessing they just wanted to perform unnecessary tests so they could charge me or my insurance more money. Their office manager or head woman in charge was very rude with me and would not budge on asking the doctor if he would just see the chalazion. Worst eye doctor business I've ever been to!!!
