I got a shellac manicure and the manicurist clipped off all my cuticles to the point where it was slightly painful. I was satisfied with the colour and style of my nails and left satisfied. However, only two days later, my manicure began to chip (shellac manicures usually remain fully intact for at least a week). Disappointed, I returned and asked the salon to fix the manicure. They then proceeded to paint two of the chipped nails the wrong colour by accident, despite the fact that I told them the colour I had gotten done only two days before. Thankfully, they didn't charge me for the service, As of today, less than a week after the initial manicure, all of my nails are chipped and look worse than before I got them re-done. Despite the staff being very friendly, I won't be returning due to the poor quality of the manicure.

They are busy so an appointment is recommended. Upon entering, you're greeted by two huge fish tanks full of rufa fish. By dipping your feet into one of these tanks for 15 minutes before your pedicure, you essentially lose a good deal of dead skin. That's right, they eat it right off of you. I didn't try it this time but I'm curious and saw one brave soul squirm for the first 5 minutes of the procedure then she settled in with a magazine. My pedicure ($35) included a workout for my feet. Be prepared for a tough (lots of punching and slapping) foot and lower leg massage and a massaging chair. In and out in a half hour, it was worth the price and I'd go back.

I visited here recently and received a decent pedicure. Here's the low-down:…read more-the place is small but clean and the tools are all sanitized and individually sealed for one-time use before being sterilized again. The pedi tubs have plastic tub sealers, too. Very hygienic and clean. -there are tons of different polishes to choose from; however, they are all scattered about the salon and not all kept together. Polish displays are on different walls and tons of individual bottles were placed on every counter surface throughout the place. -the pedi chair was great, with its massage features. (I love that!). -my pedi tech was quiet and didn't speak at all. -the pedi itself was fine if but perfunctory. Minimal leg massage with a warming cream. Zero leg massage with an exfoliating lotion (perhaps they don't do that here in Montreal. I'm used to a citrus exfoliating massage in Vancouver and Seattle salons). The tech used a pumice on my heels and the balls of my feet. Usually I'm ticklish and squeamish during this process but this part of the pedi lasted just a few minutes - so fast! - so it didn't bother me at all. Meanwhile, that night when I checked my feet, my heels were still calloused with rough skin, so the tech didn't really do a thorough job at all in this area. (The entire pedi was over really fast). -good job doing my cuticles and nails, and nice polish job, too (but they didn't put on a top coat). -one thing I disliked: when drying my toe polish, they sat me by the front door, with my toes in a portable machine to dry them. It was freezing cold out, a wintery and stormy day, and every time the front door was open (which was frequently, as people came and went), a huge draft came in, right on me. I was freezing. (There was nowhere else for me to go, as I waited for my toes to dry). Not the best set-up. All in all, if one wants a basic and quick pedi, this is a fine salon to go to. If you want some pampering, I might go elsewhere.

The people who work there are open and genuine and it really feels like you are talking with old friends rather than almost strangers. Erica cuts my hair and she really pays attention to detail and gave me exactly what I wanted. They use high quality products and hire "high quality" people. I won't go anywhere else for my hair!!
