It was the second side she worked on and I feel like maybe she just wanted to hurry and get them done? I felt it was unfair to take my money and not even address me or the issue. I had to get ahold of the gal who ran the salon to get her to finally respond. She reluctantly set up a time to fix them. The appointment was just super awkward and I could feel the resentment. I didn't want to be catty and I hate confrontation, but everyone was telling me to get them fixed. I never returned and I don't recommend going to her for lashes.

The place is easy to find right amidst the downtown strip of businesses. Parking can be sparse close by during peak tourist season. Inside, decor is unremarkable but undistracting. Everyone was pleasant and not overly fake nice. My stylist, (her name unfortunately escapes me as this is the first time we've met, I'll update later) was great. She gave me tips and seemed genuinely interested in my responses to her questions about myself. Much like the healthcare industry, they have too adopted the streamline distribution of duties/tasks in order to maximize volume. You will most likely have 2 different people helping with your style when clients are overlapped. As with everything else increasing, I feel a $60 charge for taking a couple inches off and a few wisps of long layers around the face and a blow dry is a bit exorbitant but these are the times we live in now. All in all, I was happy with the results and my experience and greatful for their willingness to accommodate me on short notice. I'd return again!

Because she doesn't have the huge overhead of a salon at a rented space she's able to pass that savings on to her clients. $100 for a full set, $40 for a fill. I could not give her a good review. I heard from the owner (Becky?) afterwards, who got me back in right away (and fixed the sloppy haircut). She asked me to update my review on their website (not Yelp). She said she would send me a link but she kept forgetting to do it, and I never could get on to their website to change my review. 2 years later I was desperate to get a haircut before my daughter's funeral, and decided to give them another chance. Julie was in a hurry as it was December 23rd (and she told me she had not done anything to prepare for Christmas). I told her I wanted to take off 2 1/2 inches of length. She grabbed my hair and cut it ALL off. I had told her before she got started on the cut, I did NOT want a super short haircut -- but that's what I got stuck with. It took me 2 years to grow my hair as long as it was! I was heartbroken when I saw how she had just chopped everything off. She was obviously preoccupied she told me I was the last appointment for the day. She should have never taken me as a customer if she couldn't manage to pay attention, and do it in a professional manner. Every other time I've ever had my haircut, they take off some, and then ask you if that's "enough"--- before they take off anymore.

I always get a mid fade, and in my experience it's really hard to find somebody who gives a really good fade. I found Tara through a recommendation. I literally stopped a stranger who had a nice haircut and I said hey where do you get your haircut? And he referred me to Tara. I could not be more pleased with the results. It was an absolutely great haircut, it's like she's been cutting my hair for years. It looks great, it did not take too long, she was great about scheduling, the price is more than reasonable especially for the quality of cut that you're getting.
