Took a permanent makeup course here and my experience was such a let down. Before signing up they are very responsive in answering your questions, making promises they clearly can't keep. Initially they said this course is all you need and you will be able to work on clients right away, but the first day of class, the instructor gave subtle hints that everyone usually goes for multiple courses and just one course isn't enough. The instructor (owner) was also late almost every day. Said they will be hands on but they just leave you there to "practice" most of the time. Definitely DO NOT purchase any of the machines/products they sell. Standard cost for a top notch PMU machine is within $1000. They charged us $2500 for the stupid machine that doesn't even use universal cartridges which means you can only buy refills from them as they are the sole provider in the whole country. None of this was mentioned in class. The owner is very entitled, arrogant and does not care about your learning journey at all. Please save thousands of your money as I have now learnt there are so many PMU teachers out there that actually care and will teach you better for much less and won't push their products on you rather they will educate you on the best products in the industry unlike this unethical business! read more

I took the Classic lash extension course. The kit provided is pretty decent with a lot of material to get you started however, I felt the value of the course was not there for the pricey course fee. I ended up learning more from you tube videos with respect to proper technique, tip and tricks of the trade. The introduction during the two day course was minimal and I had to take my model to the instructor many times to show progress and the end result and the feedback for my finished product was minimal at best. I was planning on taking several additional courses through this a academy but have decided to hold off and research other institutions. read more

Unfortunately I would not recommend this establishment for microblading. After the initial application, touch-up and 5 months later I see no detail (pics included). I'm left with uneven brows and a hole in my pocket. read more

The staff is extremely rude and the customer service is terrible. I've been here for various services and many times have had to return to have something fixed. The girls are very rude, disrespectful, talk badly about clients in front of you, and are not open to listening to specific requests or questions. read more

My experience with Lash Forever took place a few years ago and I had a horrible experience that I am still living with today. They were at a different location (still on Lakeshore) at hat time with only two staff and Lauren was the one that tatooed my eyebrows. She did not draw them out first or ask me any questions although I told what I wanted. She simply started tatooing (with her sitting at my head so she only had that perspective instead of occasionally looked me straight on to see how they were developing). I had no idea then that what I wanted in eyebrows should by drawn on first!! When finished, everything was in black ink so I had no idea what they would look like after all that extra ink came off. As that very black ink came off I had pale blonde eyebrows underneath (I had wanted black eyebrows) so I called several times and left message but no one returned my call. Then I went in to show her but she just said there was nothing wrong with them and to get them tatooed darker .... if I felt I really wanted ... which I did and had to pay for. Also, the bigger thing was that they were different shapes. One eyebrow was pointed and one was round but she said that she thought they were the same. I was so unhappy with them and had to pencil them everyday to make them even. Then some time later I noticed that they had moved a few doors down so I gathered up my courage again and went in to complain again. Lauren wasn't there but a receptionist took down my name and number and said she would call. She never did. To this day I am left with different shaped eyebrows that I have to work with everyday to make them look even. The tatoo is still there for the most part - brown not black. I so do not recommend this place. A business is defined by the way it handles complaints. I give this business a 0. read more
