It was a young couple and family business the kind of business I look to support. I have had my cars worked since 2023 and even though it took forever for the work to be completed I kept my business there to support the young family business. So this company had my phone number email daughters phone number nephews phone number I have history of texts with Heather his wife so yes texting was available. So when I recieve a certified letter from a recovery towing company that my car was towed there by this shop I was shocked.This had to be a mistake.I went and paid to get my car towed back to my house it was at his shop under a warranty for a head gasket not anything else.The warranty company has confirmed the same when it comes to reaching out to them and no response. I WENT TO THE SHOP TODAY TO CLARIFY THIS MATTER.And the owner John Powers confirmed he had the car towed he said warranty company denied and said work was not covered he said he attempted to contact me .Remember I have been a customer since 2023 he had numerous ways to contact me I live 15 minutes away he lied to me about trying to contact me there us no email no text no voice mail no miss call and I confirmed with warranty company the claim was not denied. This company got in trouble with the city code enforcement for having to many cars on the property so buyer Beware he may be open for business but I would not leave your car unattended at this company. The Manager sent me to Wishes Auto Body in Lake City to get a quote and have it repaired. I took it there and met with one of the brothers I later found out was a painter not a mechanic. He told me his brother would order the part needed. 2 weeks went by, no call nothing. I called and spoke the the 2nd brother and he had no idea what I was even talking about. Part came in, scheduled repair. Once there we were told there was another part that needed replacing and they wanted to do a complete evaluation prior to ordering. I was also told by the second brother the first brother told me this. Never happened, he obviously lied to his brother. No big deal, I wasn't paying for it. Scheduled evaluation for today so they could order the right part I guess. My wife brings the truck in. They wind up repairing the truck without ordering the part they said they needed. I asked them why it wasn't repaired the first time we were there if it didn't need the 2nd part. The 2nd brother said because it needed to be taken apart. Now I was pissed. The 1st visit to repair it I was told when they took it apart they realized they needed the 2nd part. If that was not the case why am I wasting time and gas. I tried to explain to the 2nd brother they had it apart already ON THE LAST VISIT. He continuously spoke over me and wouldn't let me explain what had happened and why it was not making any sense. Then he hangs up on me. I called back several times for over an hour and they are now ignoring my phone calls. NOONE HERE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING! THEY ARE RUDE, TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE SHIT AND CAN'T EVEN LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER WITHOUT HIDING BEHIND A TELEPHONE. I am tempted to go down there, but I don't need to spend the night in jail.

Brought my vehicle, Old Blue, in for evaluation. Had a pinion seal leak and what sounded like a…read morebearing noise. After evaluation I was charged $178 for this inspection and the estimate of repairs . I was told they had topped off the axle gear oil after I specifically asked them to do so. They said my truck needed $2800+ in repairs. This included replacing every part they would touch doing the axle bearing and seal repair Plus all bearings and other associated parts in the rear axle and seal repair. This included rear brake pads and rotors, both U-Joints and all differential bearings as well as the axle bearings. I took the truck to a well established local shop, which does not do axle/rear differential work, which I had trusted for years, to replace the U-joints, which was one of the items Johnnys said needed replacement. They were fine and needed no service. I asked about the axle gear oil. They checked it. IT TOOK 2 PINTS TO FILL IT. Johnnys not only furnished a greatly inflated estimate and charged me for such, they lied about topping off the gear oil. Then charged me to lie to me. NEVER USE THESE people. THEY are TOTAL CROOKS !!

I was under the impression that the vehicle was in good working condition and was never informed of any previous mechanical issues. I purchased a "bumper to bumper" warranty and accepted the vehicle. A couple of weeks after taking delivery of the vehicle I broke down on the interstate and had to be towed. I do not know what the dealer did to get the car running but about 2 weeks later I again broke down on the interstate and had to be towed. This time the dealer told me I needed a new battery ($395) which I found unsatisfactory when I had just purchased the vehicle. I informed the dealer that I was not happy with the vehicle. I am a 73 year old veteran that suffered a stroke in 2022 and must travel to the VA hospital frequently. I cannot risk breaking down constantly. I began to experience additional electronic issues with the vehicle (blue tooth not working, maintenance lights coming on and off and the air bag failure light staying on). The dealer informed me that I needed a software upgrade for several hundred dollars. Each time I went to the dealer with an issue I was told that I needed to pay a $200 diagnostic fee to determine if the problem was covered by my warranty (it never was). I was in a bad situation as I fell behind on my auto payments as I kept having to pay for repairs. I asked the dealer to trade out the vehicle but he said he could not do that. I was searching through the glove box and found an envelope that contained all the previous owner's personal information (address, phone number, etc) and copies of repair invoices from this dealer for many of the same issues I was experiencing. I feel that the dealer knew this vehicle had serious issues but chose to resale it any way. It is my contention this dealer took advantage of me by selling a vehicle with known issues and a warranty of no value. As a result I have to surrender the vehicle with possible negative impact on my credit as I cannot afford to have continual repair costs and risk breaking down constantly. It is disgraceful that a dealer would treat a 73 year old veteran this way for the purpose of making a dollar.

We still had several hundred miles left ahead of us on a Sunday evening. Lewis Murray Tire appeared closed, but we decided to give them a quick call (the signs said 24/7 service) and were connected to the nicest woman who promised to get someone down to the shop within the hour. She personally arrived with David who got our tire patched and helped us get on our way safely. Probably a little pricy for the late night service but worth every penny to avoid getting the donut spare put on by AAA! We could not be more grateful for their kindness and help in what could have been a huge headache. Highly recommend!
