Danielle is my fabulous lash person! She is amazing, sweet, experienced, and professional. My lashes stay looking great in between my fill appointments. I am always a little "extra" and Danielle gets my lashes as long and thick as my natural lashes will allow. I am always happy with the results. Lashmii is in old town Folsom on Sutter Street - it's a little hidden gem (right next door to Sutter Club). The decor is adorable and they have separate rooms for each customer which are clean, relaxing, with soothing music playing in the background. I have been getting my lashes done for years and prior to covid lockdown I found Danielle at Lashmii in Folsom. Danielle made apts for my girlfriend and I, we were so happy with the results that I knew I didn't have to keep searching for a new extension person. Really sad to say it but I had a horrible experience... I have had my lashes done over 50 times the past 5 years and this was the worst. I think the other eyelash technicians at Lashmii are probably great but the girl who did mine, Vanessa, did a really bad job. 1.) I asked for long and natural, she gave me short and fake looking 2.) They are not true eyelash extensions where they put the lashes on 1 by 1, they are little clumps of like 3-5 lashes. 3.) It took her 90 minutes! I've never had someone take that long. She must be brand new because it took her almost 10 min just putting the tape on my lower lashes. That should only take 30 seconds. 4.) She was clearly sick because her nose was stuffed and she could only breathe out her mouth, and she was breathing hot sick smelling breath on my face the entire time. It was hard to breathe. She also burped 3 times right near my face. You need to be wearing gloves and face masks and not touch people's face if you're clearly sick. 5.) You are in the room with 2 other customers and technicians and it's DEAD silent in there. No music or anything. It was super uncomfortable to just have the sound of sick breathing for 90 minutes. I wouldn't leave this review if I was happy with my lashes but I left super bummed. I really don't like them and they are falling off so fast. When first coming across this business I was so excited to get my lashes done! Super cute location! First impression, a little run down inside and cold environment. I saw Bethany, she did a full set in an hour and a half. The tables had tears, the card reader was held together by tape. Being in Folsom and an expensive service you would think the place would be more presentable. The next day my lashes were failing out, to the point they were uneven. I called and the owner fixed them. She said "it's okay, I'm OCD too" Bethany didn't even say hi, she came up when I was at the table and said "what's was wrong?". I left with my eyes hurting. 3 day's later most of my lashes fell out to the point my husband could tell. I called again and saw Bethany. She said "I don't see what it wrong?" The owner didn't say hi and made a comment "hope they are better now" (with a rude tone) Bethany put in a couple lashes in only on one eye and sat and brushed my lashes. Didn't care to talk to me. I came home and my eyes were burning. I took a picture they were attached to my skin, a ton of glue was stuck on my eyelids and lashes fell out with my extensions. The owner told me to not clean them? I had to go into someone else to get them removed and they stated a lot of my eyelashes are damaged. There was so much glue it took a long time to take off the lashes. I would think twice before going here. They were so rude and made me feel so uncomfortable for saying they fell out? I offered to pay every time. My eyelashes are ruined! I can't believe this place is in business. I would go get a second opinion from someone else because your lashes could be ruined too. Kaylee saved my lashes!! I was getting my lashes done elsewhere for probably a year. I thought I was happy with them until my lash lady couldn't move my apt for me before my vacation.
