It is hard for me to put into words the love I have for her. She truly went above and beyond what I could have imagined and helped me to bring my (somewhat crazy) wedding ideas to life! From the very beginning, I knew I needed a special person to help me pull off the "Wurst Wedding Ever"... I interviewed 3 wedding planners, including Caroline. Right off the bat, Caroline was the ONLY person to catch that I had the wrong date on my save the date mock-ups (I wish I could say that I did this on purpose, but NO it was really just a typo!). Not only does Caroline have an eye for detail, but her sense of calm and great attitude truly helped me to let go and actually relax and ENJOY my wedding day...something that I thought would NEVER happen (as I am a very type A personality when it comes to design and I prefer things done a certain way). Another thing that really stood out to me with Caroline is that she told me, "I am your wedding planner from the day you hire me." That is something rare to find in this crazy wedding market, and she was not lying. We used to play here but the courts are so cracked up you never know where the ball is actually going to bounce. Court two has a crack/bump that is so big, it could be used to teach kids how to jump a mountain bike. The folks who actually still play tennis there have replaced the term "Mulligan" with "Overman." an example to be used in a sentence would be, " dude, that ball took such a weird bounce, just take an Overman" We joined Newcome so we could actually play tennis.

Without knowing who's at fault, whether the coordinator of the venue or the event itself and ONLY ONE ELEVATOR, who plans to open the venue at 3:30pm for a 5pm wedding and 6:00pm reception? Just picture decorators, catering, dj, cake, etc... all waiting for the elevator to go on at precisely 3:30pm and we have to be at the church by 4:15pm for a 5pm wedding ceremony. Who planned this? So I decided to hire Jo to do the cake, cookies, centerpiece and a small backdrop. At the meeting we had, we went over all the little details and I felt real confident with everything she was proposing to me and everything was fairly priced so I was happy about doing business with her. So fast forward to today, we meet up and I put everything in my car, I briefly looked everything over and drove off. When I get home to see everything in the light, I am highly disappointed in the cookies, it looks like my 4 year old daughter made them. I am not sure if it was rushed or pure laziness but they are in no condition to give to our guests. I don't take Jo to be the lazy type so I'm going to go with rushed. I did reach out to her and I am waiting to hear back from her. One thing I want to say about everything she made for me (minus the cake) is that I could've done it better myself. Im really bummed to have to write a not so great review but I believe it is necessary to bring up the quality so that she is aware. We do not know a lot about Quinceaneras and we were planning one for our daughter so we were very nervous. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and he made us feel at ease and comfortable going into it. It turns out he walks the talk because everything went well during our Quinceanera with him as our DJ. He was organized with the flow of things and with us speaking and even with the serving of food announcements etc. He even played excellent music that all the teens and everyone were up dancing until the end. There is something beautiful in simplistic perfection. I feel that is a wonderful description of the chapel and reception hall. The chapel is cozy, comfortable, and welcoming. It draws everyone into the ceremony, which is a wonderful thing. Everyone wants to feel like they are a part. It's always a big thing for parents to part, in a sense, with their daughter, and watch as she begins a new life with her spouse. It was a beautiful setting in which to do that. I was a very happy father. The reception hall was a wonderful size for the family and friends of the bride and groom. Everything from the lighting to the draping fabrics and food brought the hall to life in a way every person who attended will always remember. I feel they couldn't have asked for more. I thank everyone at the hall for presenting such a gorgeous setting on one of the most important days in my daughter's, and now son-in-law's life. Thank you to everyone who made it happen!
