She values each couples vision and uses her creativity to make it all that you want it to be. I told Brandy that I wanted lots of greenery, books & candles and she came through. She added such unique touches, including the outside decor and ceremony set up. Brandy has a clear history in the wedding business because of how smooth our day went. She communicated all arrival and set up times with vendors, she was flexible with scheduling when necessary, she had our food and drink of choice ready for us when we entered the reception, she (kindly) encouraged guests to let us eat before socializing, etc. etc. etc. I did not worry about a single thing once the wedding began, and it's because of how much time and effort she dedicated to preparing with me before hand. We both come from families with a "all hands on deck" mentality. Our family showed up early and was shocked that it was all handled and they could just RELAX. Which was exactly the goal. We 100% would choose to use Black Nor White Events again!

I have always dreamed about having real florals at my wedding so I planned a big portion of my budget on them. I spent about 10k for my wedding on florals. I met with the floral designer twice. We also discussed how my candle arrangement would go and what my vision was for each table. She expressed to me that it would be less expensive if I provide the vases and candles for her, which I did and we went over multiple times how she would arrange them and what looked best. I also expressed how I envisioned a beautiful candle lit reception so therefore I provided tall vases and candles for her. Come wedding day and I found out my wedding planner ended up arranging all of the vases and had no time to light up all the candles so no candle lit reception. I messaged the florist what happened to everything we discussed and she said it was never put on the final bill statement so service was not provided. I was not aware that things like candle lighting was suppose to be part of the bill statement or vase arrangement so I never even questioned why is what not there. I assumed we discussed everything and she understood what I needed. I would have gladly paid for the extra services if I was already paying 10k for florals. I was not aware to look to make sure extra services on the bill. I thought she knew what I needed therefor she would put down everything necessary on the bill statement that needed to be put down. What was the point of meeting and going over candle placement if she was never going to do it? We even discussed my welcome table and guest sign in table that was never even touched by the company. The other issue was that I paid for the florals therefore I assumed I get to keep them or my family would get to take some home. However the company just came and took everything without even discussing with me where they would go! I wouldn't have minded if they were donated but I was never told! I spent 10k on flowers and was never told where they ended up. I trusted the professionalism of the company. I trusted their communication since they were reputable and I was so new to the planning process but I was truly let down. My biggest regret of my wedding was this company.

It is hard for me to put into words the love I have for her. She truly went above and beyond what I could have imagined and helped me to bring my (somewhat crazy) wedding ideas to life! From the very beginning, I knew I needed a special person to help me pull off the "Wurst Wedding Ever"... I interviewed 3 wedding planners, including Caroline. Right off the bat, Caroline was the ONLY person to catch that I had the wrong date on my save the date mock-ups (I wish I could say that I did this on purpose, but NO it was really just a typo!). Not only does Caroline have an eye for detail, but her sense of calm and great attitude truly helped me to let go and actually relax and ENJOY my wedding day...something that I thought would NEVER happen (as I am a very type A personality when it comes to design and I prefer things done a certain way).
