I was looking for someone to do my daughters fourth birthday cake and found this business. Jo's…read morebusiness has many great reviews and photos on Facebook and I decided to meet with her to discuss what she could do for my daughters party, Plus she's done cakes for family members of mine before and I thought they came out great. Jo does a lot of things for parties that include everything from providing baked goods to personalized decorations to having characters at parties. So I decided to hire Jo to do the cake, cookies, centerpiece and a small backdrop. At the meeting we had, we went over all the little details and I felt real confident with everything she was proposing to me and everything was fairly priced so I was happy about doing business with her. So fast forward to today, we meet up and I put everything in my car, I briefly looked everything over and drove off. When I get home to see everything in the light, I am highly disappointed in the cookies, it looks like my 4 year old daughter made them. I am not sure if it was rushed or pure laziness but they are in no condition to give to our guests. I don't take Jo to be the lazy type so I'm going to go with rushed. I did reach out to her and I am waiting to hear back from her. One thing I want to say about everything she made for me (minus the cake) is that I could've done it better myself. Im really bummed to have to write a not so great review but I believe it is necessary to bring up the quality so that she is aware. Idk who helps Jo with putting everything together but she needs to higher somebody that has higher standards.
