This is a long review but we encourage you to read it. Overall, our "Lasting Impression" is that the company was unprofessional and did not deliver what we paid for. JP, the President, was incredibly rude and awful to work with. We rented a large tent (40'x120'), dance floor, chairs, tables, glassware, etc for our 200 person backyard wedding. They created a digital layout for us, showing exactly where the tent poles would land and where our dance floor and tables would be. They also visited the event site twice to make sure the tent would fit there. JP visited the site himself and told us it would work. A crew delivered and set up the tent. They left large holes in the yard which we had to repair to avoid injury to our guests. They also mistakenly put an extra anchor in the yard which we had to ask them to remove. Many of the poles were crooked and the tent had visible stains. When the crew came to install the dance floor, we were told they couldn't install it as previously diagrammed by Lasting Impressions and as agreed to/contracted/and paid for by us. The floor installer commented on how crooked the tent installation was and couldn't seem to figure out how to install the dance floor with the tent poles in place. My father had to spend several hours working with the floor installer, loaned him a tape measure (since he barely had any tools) and helped him figure out how to get most of the flooring installed. In the diagram, the tent poles were shown to go on top of the dance floor. However, when they showed up to install it, they told us that the pole would have to go on grass instead. So, we had a dance floor with a hole in the center, another trip hazard for our guests and not what we had agreed to or wanted. In addition, due to the pole placement, we had to forgo an entire row of our dance floor, which we had already paid for. As for pick up after the wedding, there was no communication. We were originally told Monday or Tuesday, and that they would follow up with an exact time. We emailed and called JP to see when everything was going to be picked up, but never got a response. Instead the truck showed up in our driveway in the afternoon. Thankfully we were home to receive them. Afterwards, we reached out to JP to ask for a refund for the dance floor that his team did not put down for us. Not only did he refuse to refund us, he accused us of making his team wait for us to remove lighting from the tent (they were not delayed) and he didn't even apologize for their error. After a mistake that big, that's the very least he could do. Additionally, when trying to rent everything for the wedding, JP would send us quotes with items missing and inconsistent prices. In the few weeks leading up, we had to follow up with him several times to make sure that we did, in fact, have everything reserved. We had never received a final agreement or notice for final payment so we reached out to them. JP blamed us, claiming he had asked us for the signed estimate many times but never received it. We forwarded him the email where we had sent the signed estimate several weeks earlier, but he never acknowledged it. When JP eventually sent the final agreement, the prices had been raised from the original quote. We asked about it and were told that we were supposed to be charged for an extra delivery charge, so really we were still saving money.  The final agreement was also missing several items from the original quote, including the propane oven that was going to be used to cook our guests' food. If we had not double and triple checked everything, it could have been a disaster. Lasting Impressions was disorganized, hostile, and made promises they couldn't keep. They put their customers in an impossible position because it's too late to make changes or hire anyone else. The bottom line is - don't trust Lasting Impressions with your event, especially something as important as a wedding. read more

Don't use Lasting Impressions! I've been in contact with them for weeks about rentals for an event. Multiple times I've been told they were emailing a quote/aerial map of the event venue. I never received it. I'm pretty sure they never spelled my email address correctly. I finally confirmed and paid by credit card for the full order, only to have them call me 6 days before the event to cancel and tell me they could not fulfill the order. I wrote a review on another site and they blatantly lied about the timeline of events. When they called to cancel the order their staff member chuckled as part of the conversation. Between their pricing, inventory, and service, it doesn't get much better than Lasting Impressions. My husband and I had our wedding in downtown Cleveland in September 2016 at a venue that was both indoor and outdoor. Given Cleveland's ever changing weather, we wanted to have the option of either having a smaller tent to provide some shade from the sun or a larger tent to protect our guests from the rain while not in the smaller indoor space. I did some research and found that Lasting Impressions had the best prices for tent (frame), chairs, and tables we were looking for. We met with Amber months in advance to come up with two different quotes - our "rain" and "no rain" options. She not only met with us on a Saturday (we live out of town), but worked with us for about an hour to finalize the two very different quotes. After a few months, she also scheduled a tent survey with us, Lasting Impressions tent experts, and our venue to make sure everything on the quotes was correct. There were a few adjustments to our "rain" quote that were recommended after reviewing the venue, but everything else was all set. The week before our wedding, the weather kept changing between 60% chance of rain to no rain. We decided to put the final order in for the "no rain" quote and hope for the best. However, just a few days later/the Tuesday before our wedding, the weather forecast had changed to 90% chance of severe thunderstorms. I called Amber in a panic to change our order to the "rain" quote. Although I realize this likely messed up something on their end as our tent was supposed to be delivered and set-up in two days, she did this without any apparent issues or concerns. I even called her the day before to see if we could add some industrial fans to our order - again, no issue. Then there was the day of the set up. Our venue, without telling us, scheduled to chop a giant oak tree down exactly where our tent was going up at the exact same time the tent guys were scheduled to set up the tent. After arguing with the venue and tree service for a while, the tent guys said they were just come back later that day and put everything up - despite our previously scheduled time. Not only did they wait to come back until the tree service was done with their job (around 6/7pm), but they worked on setting up our tent and the tent lights until nearly midnight. Not once did they complain or show any frustration with the situation. Nor did they cut any corners on the set up - the tent looked beautiful and exactly as we had envisioned. The day of the wedding not only were their severe thunderstorms, but there were also very strong winds that all blew in right as our guests were arriving. The tent didn't budge and stayed up all night looking great. Although the weather was not what we wanted for our wedding, we had only minor concerns about our guests getting wet (e.g., walking to and from the bus) because of Lasting Impressions. Their flexibility, prices, responsiveness, professionalism, experience, and inventory ensured our wedding went on as planned despite the weather. Also, for the sake of space, I have left out other times I spoke with Amber (numerous emails) and others at Lasting Impressions as it got closer to the wedding and we were trying to figure out the weather situation/our final order.
