I called on a Saturday and usually most places are extremely busy and booked for weeks out. The receptionist was able to schedule me today since there was an cancellation. I come in and the place is beautiful, clean and quiet. You can tell they take pride in their presentation and they had customers coming in and out which let me know people were pleased. Jessica was the one who did my facial, I decided to get the dermabrasion to help with some scarring and discoloration I was having. Jessica was extremely profesional and knowledgable about what was best for my skin. She took her time and actually made this session so relaxing that I actually went to sleep, LOL! It was so peaceful and the rooms are set up to make you feel rested and comfortable. The sessions are about an hour and you can instantly see the improvements. Like most places they try to sell you products but here that did not happen. Their honesty and professionalism will make me a recurring costumer. I've never had a bad experience at the business in the past, and I reacted in the immediate shock of the encounter. Over the years, TWB had become a space where I felt safe, particularly because my experiences there had always been with women. I've had traumatic experiences in the past that have led me to intentionally seek out women-only spaces whenever possible, which is why this interaction affected me so strongly. With the additional context, I recognize that my original characterization was stronger than warranted and understand now that the questions were part of the business's standard process. In hindsight, I think there was a misunderstanding on both sides of the encounter. I appreciate the clarification and have reconsidered my initial assessment, which is reflected in my updated review.

I was able to book my appointment that night on the website and went in the next day for my appointment! The location was pretty easy to find. I went to see Diana cracraft for my wax. She was in the lower level. The ambiance of the location was very warm and welcoming. My husband was able to sit in the lobby and get some coffee while he waited for me. He really liked that. The waxing room was in the next area which also had another seating area. The room was clean and quiet. The table was more like a bed and was very comfy. Definitely more luxurious than other places I had been. Diana was very thorough and made me comfortable. The wax itself took about 45 minutes, but that was probably because we got to talking lol. She truly takes pride in her work and wants to be happy with your results. She told me if I got home and noticed that she had missed something to just give her a call. But she didn't! Most of the time after I get waxed I have to "clean up" some stragglers the next day. It's been 2 days no strays! Probably the best wax anyone has done for me.
