Over the years, TWB had become a space where I felt safe, particularly because my experiences there had always been with women. I've had traumatic experiences in the past that have led me to intentionally seek out women-only spaces whenever possible, which is why this interaction affected me so strongly. With the additional context, I recognize that my original characterization was stronger than warranted and understand now that the questions were part of the business's standard process. In hindsight, I think there was a misunderstanding on both sides of the encounter. I appreciate the clarification and have reconsidered my initial assessment, which is reflected in my updated review.
