Where do I even begin? Nico is fantastic with a capital F! She's highly knowledgeable, friendly, responsive, encouraging, and passionate about helping mommies and babies. You can tell how much she loves her own kids and it really just feels like I'm talking to another good mom friend who happens to know so much! Highly recommend Nico and her lactation expertise! As a first time mom, I had so many questions and concerns related to breast feeding. Nico always listened and provided solutions. My son was born with oral restrictions (tongue tie, lip tie, and bilateral cheek ties) which affected his latch and caused pain during breastfeeding. Nico recommended an appropriate nipple shield, silverettes to help sooth between feeds, and referral recommendations for pediatric dentists for tongue tie evaluations/treatment. We underwent a tongue, lip, and cheek tie release, which drastically improved both the latch and discomfort. Following the tie release procedure and after discontinuing the nipple shield, Nico provided tips for a deep latch while breastfeeding. She also provided support for pumping, infant gassiness, and infant food intolerances to dairy. Nico is very skilled and made my breastfeeding journey successful! 10/10 recommend! Nico has been incredibly helpful with both of my babies. My first baby was premature and spent time in the NICU before coming home so my breast feeding journey with off to a challenging start. Nico was extremely helpful & encouraging in giving me clear instruction with increasing my milk supply with a "lazy" eater who preferred the bottle. I consulted with Nico multiple times with baby #1! Baby #2 came along with different challenges and I contacted Nico again. I reached out to Nicolette out of sheer panic as a new mom totally unsure on how to breast feed a newborn and terrified that I wasn't doing anything right as it was painful and I was having latching issues with my newborn. Nico is seriously a life saver. I met her as a nurse in the NICU and she knew I really wanted to work on breastfeeding even though I had to mostly pump while being in the NICU. I am so thankful for Nico! After having my first baby and feeling like I didn't know what I was doing Nico came to the rescue. My baby was super fussy and would not latch for longer than 1 minute.
