We're staying at the JW Marriott and really wanted to try feijoada, a Brazilian, black bean stew…read more We've heard it referred to as Brazil's national dish.
About 250 feet from the front door of the hotel (go right then right again) is the restaurant. Clean, lots of windows to the street, friendly and attentive service.
We ordered the feijoada and two Chopps pilsners. The meal included a green salad that was a cross between romaine and seaweed. Yum. Also rice, corn meal, and fried pork belly. Oh, and a shot of alcohol that was quite similar to the kind of margarita you'd get from someone who adores tequila. Delicious!!
With tax and tip, the meal was 108 reals, or about $27...for two. Superb!!!
