This place is so worth it my first time being here in the 3 years I've been working in Rio. I've been missing out. Don't be Devena. Don't miss out on the Rian experience!

This stuff should have a warning label! Hot!

Tasty. Menus in English. Wide variety. Watch out for the proper sauce, that stuff is HOT! Air-conditioned. HUGE portions. The arroz com queijo was exceptionally good. Steak medallions were more like full-size steaks. Both of our orders could have feed two.

I stopped here in a daze of hunger and it was a good choice. The man at the door was incredibly nice and spoke English pretty well. I got the chicken risotto to go. The portion was HUGE (enough for two people!) and it was quite satisfying. Nothing out of this world, but a solidly good meal. I'd eat there again.

This is a right place if you like an excellent brasilian and international dishes! It is a tipical familiar Rio restaurant with great tradition. It was inaugurated in 1949 and it is obviously very popular among cariocas. All stuff are very helpful and welcoming. We were attended by one waiter, Mr. Bragus (my apology if I didn't get the name right) who made us feel pumpered. They have menus in portugese and english with a wide selection of different dishes. Appart from delicious soup, we had brasilian churrasco (stake) which was excellent and it came with very abundant and tasteful sidedishes. The portions are so abundant that unfortunately we couldn't try the cakes but we will definitively go back and try some. And for what regards the price it is more than afortable. I strongly recomend this place to anyone who wants to feel the Rio reallife atmosphere and great food.

This restaurant has really become one of my favorite places to dine at while traveling to Rio. We…read moregot the feijoada and it was incredibly good. If you like a little spice with some of your food, be sure to discard the tobasco sauce and ask for the molho pimenta especial. Be sparing with how much you use, it can get pretty ridiculous. The service was great and the staff was friendly. I don't think they speak much English, descriptive hand gestures and menu props are welcome and likely offensive. I'm stopping here again before I leave. Our meal for two came out to around R$100 for four drinks and feijoada to share. Portion sizes are large.

Its not that big of a space, but the open air concept, makes the space feel larger. We've gone in groups of 6-8 and people have enjoyed their beer, caipirinhas, and juices. For food we tend to split a Churrasco Misto: which comes on a hot plate cuts of beef, chicken and sausages. Rice and traditional farofa comes along with this dish. the only thing missing from it are Fries, but we always put in a separate order. Besides the Churrasco Misto, there are other versions of the Hot plate dishes: Only picanha, a Chorizo plate, and a seafood plate (which offers shrimp, octopus and squid and mussels). They also have other individual dishes and traditional brazilian bar food. For dessert we have had their Doce de Leite Pasteis which are great to share. Their Petit Gateau was ok, simple, nothing amazing. But if you are interested for something sweet to end the day they work too.
