I can't expressed how happy I am with this dance studio. I've attended 9 classes and I can't get enough. The instructors are amazing. Hervin is awesome. You even get videos texted to you to be able to practice at home or with your partner. I've been wanting to start taking salsa lessons for almost 3 years and could not find a class in the north Broward area equivalent to the ones in Miami. I can honestly say this one is it. There are tons of salsa/latin dance places in Miami, but finding an honest and reliable teacher is not as easy as it should be...Hervin totally solves that problem. My husband and I worked with Hervin to learn merengue for our first dance at our wedding. We were complete beginners and Hervin was beyond patient and kept a sense of humor. I was surprised with salsa classes!! We have been doing private lessons (3 so far) and one group class. Hervine is very clam and patient. The private and group classes are fun. The dance steps are broke down and super easy to follow. The key is repetition and we definitely do that in class. This place is definitely a scam. Went in for an intro class and all we did was talk about pricing and payment options the entire time. I wanted to get back to Salsa and found this place online and decided to give it a try. My first impression is great as the place is big, nicely decorated, with big mirrors (stationary and movable ones) that the whole studio is built for dancing. Is better than going to classes in a club as there is too much distraction. Hervin is a marvelous instructor. His attention to detail, well coordinate training steps, and the patient to explain help accelerated my learning tremendously. The classes are a perfect size, in which you feel you are getting individual instruction but for the best prices available in Miami-- $10/lesson if you buy 10 classes, and if you stay for a second class it's half off, giving you an opportunity to pay $7.50 a class. Not to mention, Hervin is in my opinion the best teacher in Miami. Have tried a few places out, and price aside, it's the best instruction you're going to receive. Hervin is awesome! Take his classes! The group classes usually have 4-12 people, which is a good size. Classes are about 50 min. There is a beginner class, which is mostly about the basic steps and learning to count with the music. Take this if you have never danced before. The intermediate class has more complexity and is about turn patterns, styling, and learning to be a better leader or follower. I appreciate that Hervin teaches both mens' and ladies' styling. Some instructors focus so much on the guys that we ladies feel left out. Not here. It's a great way to learn, and it's fun. And reasonably priced for the quality of of the class. read more
