This review is specifically for one agent, Scott Brannon.
We recently purchased our first home. We were nervous and poor and generally clueless. After trying it alone and getting the run-around by the seller's agents from the houses we were trying to purchase, we finally gave up and called a realtor.
We had met Scott as a Seller's agent for a HUD house we looked at early on, and while he did work for the seller, he was honest, approachable, kind and willing to explain anything e needed to know.
SO we asked him if he would work as our Buyer's agent. He agreed.
At first things were awkward because he didn't have a good idea of what we wanted. That makes sense since he didn't know us yet. SO he would suggest a few places and we would give our impressions.
Then we would make some suggestions and we would check it out. He took copious notes and answered anything we asked. He couldn't actually tell us his views on places but he could and did back us up on our impressions.
As we did more homework and he learned more about us, it because an easier process.
Eventually we found the house we both loved and that's when he really got into gear. He helped us every step of the way to get the inspections worked out, the mortgage stuff worked out, the insurance stuff, the title stuff and anything else we were needing. He helped advise us in the negotiations (great help there) as well as controlling our expectations during the process.
He managed to get us some great concessions from the seller and went with us all the way through signing the paperwork at closing.
During the entire process, we couldn't have asked for a better person to represent us.
I would recommend him to any buyer OR seller looking to get the most fairness for everyone involved.
Thanks so much Scott. read more
