    Alcoholic beverage for the night
    Tiff H.

First time visiting the Laugh Factory so I decided to purchase tickets to the show while visiting Chicago. Tickets were easy to purchase online. There is a 2 drink minimum. The waiter was friendly. The comedians listed on the website were not the comedians that were at the show nevertheless, the show had some funny moments and some comedians were funnier than others. We got some guest comedians that happened to be in town and was somewhat familiar with from social media skits. We check out the Laugh Factory again preferably in another location.

Tickets were around $35. Like is standard in comedy clubs there is a two drink minimum but they do not need to alcoholic. I went on a Saturday night and the place was pretty full. Both of my drinks were sour but the comics were good. Once the show is over they quickly usher you out since there was another show starting in about a half hour. It's one of the bigger comedy clubs I've been too. Seating arrangement was good. I would recommend and return.

We had such a great time at the Laugh Factory! The variety of comedians was awesome -- everyone brought something different, and we were laughing the whole night. It really felt like a fun mix of styles and personalities on stage. The space itself is definitely on the tight side, so just be prepared for a very packed-in setup. The 2-drink minimum also adds up quickly, but the lavender lemonade was honestly delicious, so it felt like a fun little treat. Overall, a super entertaining night with tons of laughs. Would definitely go back!

Came in for a show and really loved their venue. Got a great view of the comedians. They have a two drink minimum but their prices are pretty decent. Tasty mocktails and crispy tots!

This is a great place to visit for a laugh. The laugh was wonderful it was too fun. The drinks are strong. The food is just cheap bar food so eat before you get there. Trust me, you won't be missing anything. Everything is on one bill for the entire table. Service was good. The environment was dim and low lighting as it should be.

First time at the laugh factory and I will def be back. Once doors opened the lines moved swiftly as their staff scanned tickets. Our seating location was perfect as it wasn't too far back but also not too close. The only down thing I have is that it is so packed in there so and I was sitting at the end of the table, so our waiter would always bump into walking by to get orders or deliver drinks but they remain so poised and I'm sure they're used to it because they never dropped anything. The drinks were great too. I will be back.

We randomly decided to catch a stamp up comedy show at laugh factory on a weekday. The tickets were really inexpensive. We went with little expectations, and boy, were they exceeded. The check in was a breeze. We were seated at the terrace (that explains the inexpensive tickets). The comedians were so talented! The amount of talent in that room that night was incredible. We had 3 comedians that night in total, and they kept you falling out of your chairs (literally and figuratively) all night. Each person has a 2 drink minimum (the usual scam of comedy clubs). The drinks are mid at best, very watered down in my opinion. Haven't tried the food so can't comment on that. Ambience wise, it's a bit dated but everything is clean and orderly, and that's all that matters for comedy clubs. I will definitely visit again, mainly because I laughed all night and had a good time.

The only reason I give 5 Stars is due to Lisa Beasley's Monday night performance. There is a (2) drink minimum and automatic 18% Gratuity Service Fee added. I'm a tipper but it's something that irks me when it's automatically added. I know 20% is minimum and I tip more than usually like even numbers a little ocd about. The boneless chicken wings were okay. The seating area was clean along with their restroom. The staff members were not rude and my server was nice smiling. The B. A. M. F. $15 Drink listed ingredients Grey Goose, Casamigos, GH Gin, Bacardi Rum, Blue Curacao. I received a red drink with bottom layer of orange Juice. The server said if I added a double shot it counts as two drinks for $24.

Fun place to see free shows for the over-priced drinks ($3 bottle of water, $5 cup of soda anyone?) The comedians are fun, and it's nice to see a showcase. The service was friendly. Good area to grab dinner beforehand and wander, too. Pal bought a pre-rolled at a nearby smoke shop, and we enjoyed a stroll since everything was closed by 11 pm.

Ask the Community - Laugh Factory

Can you buy tickets at the box office if sold out online?

    Depends on the show

Are unvaccinated guests allowed? When I got tickets on eventbrite, one show said proof of vaccination required to enter, but another show said unvaccinated employees and guests have to wear masks.

    No vaccinations required nor mask

Do you need to print out your tickets?

No! you can use the QR code on your phone.

Did anyone else have issues with their prepaid tickets ? We tried to show our tickets but the door guy wouldn't let us in since they were sold out even though I prepaid for tickets

I got two eventbrite tickets and the ticket lady still made me pay for a ticket she said I only had one

How long is a show normally?

The show we attended had 6 comedians and was about 2 hours long. Although, the doors open about one hour before the show for VIP sitting.

How easy is it to get seats if one has general admission tickets? Does the equation change for a weekend show?

Hello Michael! If you arrive 30 minutes prior to show, you will have a great seat! If you arrive later, your chances of preferred seating decrease. Hope to see you at a show soon!

Is the age limit 18 or 21? The show description says 18, but the cart page says 21.

The age limit is 18 :)

    Do they serve food?

    I don't think they do.

The staff was super attentive and kind, checking on us frequently. My friend and I stopped by for happy hour, and this should absolutely make it onto the list of the best in town. They have delicious wine, cocktails, and bites for nearly half of the regular price. I opted for the happy hour prosecco to drink, which was light-bodied and not too sweet. We split the meatballs and dates for bites and both were outstanding. I was super impressed with how tender the meatballs were, and they did not skimp on the flavorful marinara and cheese! The dates, which were topped with a white wine cheese sauce, were mouth-wateringly delicious and a must order. There was also complimentary focaccia with olive oil, which was greatly appreciated. With sea salt on top and a crispy exterior, I could easily have eaten a whole loaf. The only note I have is that the portions are small, so if you don't come during happy hour the prices are a bit steep for what you get. The staff were super friendly too and gave us some awesome recommendations, which definitely helped because there were so many things I wanted to try. I ordered the Harissa Shakshuka, it came with roasted peppers, onions, tomatoes, garbanzo beans, goat cheese, and two poached eggs, served with sourdough toast. When it came out, the presentation immediately caught my attention. The two poached eggs were sitting right on top of this beautiful, rich sauce, with the goat cheese scattered throughout. Once I cut into the eggs and that runny yolk mixed into everything underneath... wow. The flavor was outstanding. The tomatoes and roasted peppers gave the dish a deep, slightly sweet and savory base, while the harissa added a warm, smoky heat that slowly built with each bite. The garbanzo beans were soft and tender, adding this really nice texture. And the sourdough toast was perfect for this. I could scoop up the sauce, egg yolk, beans, and peppers all in one bite. That's when the dish really came together. This was a seriously delicious breakfast. Every bite had something going on, and I'd definitely order it again.

The location is great and easy to get to, which is one of the reasons we decided to stop in. The atmosphere was fun, and the restaurant was very quiet that evening. Since it wasn't busy, we expected quick service and were looking forward to relaxing for a bit. Unfortunately, that's where our experience fell short. We were seated right away but then waited about 15 to 20 minutes without ever being greeted by a server. Multiple servers and bussers walked past our table several times, yet no one acknowledged us or even let us know someone would be with us shortly. It honestly felt like our table had been forgotten. Because we were never able to place an order, I can't comment on the food or drinks. We ended up leaving before anyone came to our table. The wait time itself wasn't the issue. We were seated immediately. The problem was waiting 15 to 20 minutes after being seated without receiving any service, especially at a nearly empty restaurant. As for value, it's hard to judge since we never had the opportunity to order anything. However, spending nearly 20 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us made the experience feel like a waste of time. It's unfortunate because the atmosphere and location were great, but the lack of service completely overshadowed the rest of the experience. I hope this was just an off night, but based on this visit, I can't recommend it.
