Kyle's a very experienced groomer and so I booked Oscar in...Oscar was there this morning. Oscar came out looking just as I wanted and only an hour so for a complete grooming at a very reasonable price. I advise providing a photo of how you want your dog to look... (possibly from a prior grooming...this takes the guesswork out the equation) Kyle didn't charge me for the "love bite" inflicted by Oscar :)...(I did leave Oscar's muzzle with Kyle, just in case...Oscar can get a little scared in new surroundings) No major harm done and Kyle was "hey...goes with the territory"...very nice of him ! Vanna's hair was also matted and I was concerned about her getting shaved completely and being cold. I called and spoke with Mary who was very open to listening to my concerns. Vanna just had her first trip at Happy Tails and I can't say enough nice things about Mary and John. They are both such genuinely kind people who love dogs and are very good at what they do. Not only did they take excellent care of Vanna and saved as much of her hair as possible, they also gave her a doggy t shirt and coat to keep warm. John also cut a bit of hair my other dog Blizzard and saved vanna's hair too and gave me two lovely Christmas ornaments with their hair. Mary also gave me some medical powder to stop bleeding if their nails or pads ever got tiny tears or bruises. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent.
