Strollers - the first time I went with my single stroller and this time navigated with my double stroller. Easy to use either. Some families had wagons which is also great for this environment. if you are interested in feeding the animals (sheep, goat, cows, zebra), make sure you bring quarters. There is a change machine or you can elect for a higher package that includes a pony and train ride. Animals - you can feed the giraffe with one free carrot per person. The two giraffes are either indoors or outdoors. - there are sheep, goats, cows, pigs, monkeys, birds, a zebra, ostrich, cattle and turtles and fish. Playgrounds - there is a playground with sand as the base and also another one with little rocks/pebbles. There are also mini houses that is like a village. Many photo opportunities! When we went there were free hayrides. you just park your stroller and the hay ride goes in a circle. There was also a free Dino exhibit and a comedy show. I feel that this time there were alot more options. of course on your way our you have to get a pie! the food court and desserts are pricey. It wasn't nearly as busy when we arrived, mainly due to the zoo being closed. There is a trail that does a big loop around the park, including nice scenery to take in. A map isn't really necessary since there is one trail, with the expectation of one branching off into a big field which then meets up again on the main trail. A playground is provided along the trail and also some exercise stations to stop at. It would be nice to see some touch-ups here and there, pertaining to the trails, but nothing major. We didn't cover everything, but this park along with the Wildlife and Ecology Center is the place to come to for a great meet-up.

After checking in at the ticket booth and informing the attendant we were here for the Capybaras with babies encounter at 1:15pm, we started to explore Long Island Game Farm which is home to many exciting, exotic, and local species. We saw a tortoise, alpacas, llamas, miniature donkeys, deers, sheep, goats, cockatoo, camels, emus, and so much more. These animals have been rescued, rehabilitated, or re-homed. The capybara encounter includes general admission to Long Island Game Farm. I had booked the encounter online about a month ago for $100. The tickets sell out quickly. About 1:15pm, we headed to the capybara area and was greeted by the zoo owner's daughter. She gave us some instructions and opened the gate for us to meet the capybaras. We were able to feed them carrots and lettuce and pet them. There were 2 older capybaras and a few younger ones. I took many photos with them and they are so adorable. The capybaras were walking around or in the pool. The zoo owner's daughter was available to answer any of our questions and was very friendly. The encounter finished about 1:50pm. Long Island Game Farm is such a fun family friendly place and I would definitely be back to visit the animals. Included in admission, we got to be so close with the deers and goats. It is located in Manorville, NY and a bit of a far drive from Queens/Nassau, but definitely worth it.
