This place honestly deserves its 5 stars. Just recently moved into the area and don't have a laundry set yet. This place is nice! Great staff, amazing music, A/C, vending machines etc. They have change machines that take up from $1, $5, $10, and $20. Every load takes me 30 mins to wash, then 25-30 mins to dry. I don't spend more than an hour and a half here. The washers in the photo are $3 per load. read more

I needed to wash comforters and blankets today, not a fun job. I haven't been here so I dropped by to see how much the machines cost. There was a nice employee there to answer my questions. I had a few issues but it all worked out. It was clean and easy. I will return in spring to wash blankets before I put away for next winter. The jumbo machines are 5.50 and the jumbo dryers are 25 cents for each 5 min. It took about an hour for each dryer to completely dry my large loads. As far as laundry mats go this one is pretty dope. The owner is real friendly and down to earth. I left my clothes in one of the machines accidentally and left him a note the next day to call me. He held them and I got my clothes back. Great prices on the machines. Food right next door along with do it yourself car wash. Wish they were all like this one. read more

At least 15 broken washing machines, the restroom was disgusting, for the hour and a half. I was here there was no attendant and the website there's always someone so that's a lie, and the change machine was broken. read more

Disgusting. This place was so dirty. There was caked on detergent on top of washers. Left behind towels on the floor. Water in a container in the sink. Some of the dryers do not close properly, so you're feeding quarters into the machines. So make sure the door latches. .25 for 6 minutes of dry time. $4.50 for large washer. Need to get my mom's dryer fixed ASAP. read more

Almost all the machines are broke washers and dryers went there one time will never go again

This place is always clean and they have staff there on the premises to assist you if anything should happen. There fluff and fold service is excellent . I have never had anything missing or damage. Great services. I am so happy to have them here in town. I highly recommend them. read more

This place is clean! Some laundry places there's dryer sheets and lint all over, but the guy keeps this place clean. Typical laundromat, someone always there in case the machines steals your quarters. Not too big of a place so dryers can be taken up when your load finishes. read more

I never thought I'd have need of a laundromat in Tehachapi but lo and behold I did, and Laundry Express fit that need to a T. The place is very clean, but not very new looking. There are several options for both washing and drying, we opted to use the 5 load industrial washer and dryer so we only had to do one load, but there were normal load machines and 3 load machines as well. The guy in charge was very nice and helpful, saying hello to my kids and making sure we had everything we needed. Another plus was the free wi-fi. read more

Just like the other reviewer's, I agree this establishment is kept up very nicely. There are a nice assortment of washers and dryer's to handle your laundry needs, and they all look to be in good condition. As I was coming in, the person on duty was mopping the floor and tidying up the machines that had been recently used. I had some questions and found him to be very kind and helpful. The restroom was totally spotless! There is a restaurant in the same building, and a donut/coffee shop just a few steps away. Other stores and fast food are nearby. You can feel comfortable and safe in this location. read more

Making a bad day worse..Less than half of the regular washing machines were functioning and the first one I tried to use didn't work. As I was trying to get my $2.00 back a young man yelled at me "Stop hitting the machine!" This just made me angrier and elicited a confrontational situation. I asked for my money back and I asked him to get a machine working . He refused. I asked to talk to the manger and he told me I had to call the manager on my phone. Unfortunately, I didn't have my cell with me. I insisted that he call the manager, and he later claimed he had, although I didn't see the manager while I was there.. After he hassled a back packer who was marginally dressed, (not wearing a shirt because he was washing his clothes). I calmly told him that he escalated the situation. I acknowledged that I was angry, but suggested he could have approached me like this: " Excuse me sir I see you're having a problem, let me help you." I also mentioned that I had to tell three people not to use that machine. I had mentioned earlier that he needed put a sign on it. He hadn't. He then told me, " I was treating him this way because he was Mexican". I was exasperated. No, it was sadly an all too American attitude of entitlement. A little courtesy, a little initiative can go a long way. Sadly, those things are in short supply of people in this country. read more
