Without seeing clearly posted charges for the various items to be washed or dry cleaned, the upfront cost can be a surprise -especially if something occurs during the cleaning process. Another concern: having to be told "this is going to be expensive" before any payment was made. When you tell a customer about a cost that you think they can't afford, you are telling the customer to go elsewhere. I didn't drive up and walk through your door to hear not so subtle hints to take my business elsewhere. Post all charges -large print, clearly. Post what will be considered "extra charges" including any alterations that are available.

I've had pick up and drop off laundry services in major cities that cost not quite as much. Again, shop around and don't be afraid to ask upon drop off if there any coupons that can be used.

Thank you for your fantastic turnaround time for your Wash & Fold service. (If you drop your laundry off before noon, it'll be done the same day.) $1.05 per lb to have someone else wash, dry, & neatly fold my laundry.... I don't think anything (besides kittens) could be better than that.
