This is one of the nicest coin only operated washateria's in the area, without driving far. It is very clean, nice facilities, large capacity washer/dryers. there are cameras and the security footage on two walls, which I like because I feel more secure. (This is located on a corner in a strip center that is still evolving). They carry just about every laundry detergent, sheets, bleach, softeners that you can think of (just not mine). Very organized and where you can see them. There are vending machines with drinks and snacks. Change machine and you can use different card methods for change. There is plenty of seating. I do wish the folding table were a smidgeon larger, just because if it's crowded and everyone folds around the same time, you're on top of your neighbor. I have not had that happen, I can only imagine it happening on a busy day/time. Emily, manager, is very nice and super helpful. She's friendly to everyone and is helpful where she can be. This week, I dropped our laundry off for wash/fold. She even used my laundry soap, beads & dryer sheets we use. Clothes were dropped off in the morning and by early afternoon, she called to let me know they were ready. This was a HUGE help for me as I spend anywhere from 2.5-3.5 hours at the washateria. Wash & fold was only a few more bucks on what I spend to do myself. Emily saved me time and did a great job. I will definitely be using her services again!!

Found this washateria after moving to Garden Oaks a few months ago. Tried a few other laundromats…read morethat had older machines with lots of issues but this spot has new machines and driers in several sizes and they rarely have one not functioning. Change machines on site, but you can also use an app to pay for the machines which means no need to have 10 lbs of quarters in your pocket! They do wash and fold as well but I haven't tried their service yet. Only gave 4 stars because the bathrooms seem to often be closed or out of service and at crowded times, there can be a dozen kids or more running around jumping on the furniture, running under the folding tables and neither the parents nor the staff do anything to reign them in.

Prices went way up in kind of ridiculous ways. For the wash and fold the prices doubled. And it's just nickel and dime stuff. 20 extra for this, 25 extra for that. And I'm talking dollars. I spoke with Gloria and she was nice and helpful . The place is no longer clean and there is not any change in the quarter machines. Sad to see this happen. It used to be a fabulous place.

They speed up on pricing for my work clothes price wise. Every time I I went there it was 75-150 dollars. I never made complaints because I'm not a rude person. I started to notice buttons on my satin shorts melted off, stains I pointed out to get removed not removed. I said something nicely the second to last time I went in about them not getting a smell and stain out of two shirts. When I went back in after I had paid 85.00 dollars the prior visit for the damaged clothes the woman told me they only did, " dry cleaning only". I then went on to tell her these are dry cleaning only, please read the label. She went silent and said she'd try to fix it. Came back to find she couldn't do silk or polyester because they don't do cleaning of stains or smells. I took the same shirt three times it costing 7 dollars per visit alone for that shirt on top of 3 dozen others. Went home and washed them myself in the washer; no buttons melted, no stains, no smell, no damage. I do NOT recommend this place. They ruined half my clothes and still charged me for it. They verbally told me they didn't know how to get deodorant out of silk or polyester then went on to charge me 75.00 dollars not including the shirt they didn't wash for the second time. I'm normally a very polite person and was never rude and very unprofessional. Uptown cleaners I would recommend 100% .

Nowadays shirts are about $4-5, jackets are a bit pricier like $10-$12, pants $4-6 or so (estimating from my recent visits). They're extremely considerate and will put aside any pins or accessories if you accidentally drop them off. Parking is generally very easy in the little plaza. It's especially nice that they're open for a little while on Saturdays for people that can't make it during normal work hours.
