I just want to publicly recognize Pam and her outstanding work at Laura Vera Skin! When I first found her, I was a mess. Despite the cleanest diet ever, I started breaking out something fierce. It was cystic and painful, and difficult to hide. I am not a vain person, but when hormones ravage your skin, it chips away at your self confidence. Being an extrovert and a sales rep by trade, this was devastating to my quality of life; both personally as well as professionally. The dermatologists I saw offered antibiotics and topicals that only seemed to make things worse. I knew I was going to have to try a different approach to get a different result. When I found Pam, all of that changed! Within 4-6 weeks, a MASSIVE improvement in my skin was observed. By 3 months, my skin was almost completely clear. By the 4th month, I would say my skin was baby smooth. Pam offers amazing skincare products that are very reasonable in price, and she is NEVER pushy about up-selling you on anything. Quite the opposite actually! Despite this, make sure to follow the regimen she outlines to the tee! Remove all shampoo, conditioner, sunscreen, and the like that do not work with the ingredient lists she approves of. In fact, she will even look at your products for you, and if they are not good, she can make other recommendations. The Priia makeup she sells is a lifesaver and will not break you out! The SolRx sunblock she sells is probably the most amazing sunscreen on the market, and stands up to hours of beach volleyball with no reapplication needed! I love all of the FACE Reality products she sells, and continue to use them now for maintenance. I am also using a Michele Corley Salicylic toner Pam recommended which was an absolute game changer when my skin tried to plateau a few months back. Aside from her miraculous ability to treat the physical; her sweet, genuine personality always makes me feel as if I am visiting a dear friend! Most importantly, she kept my head up and gave me hope when months of other treatments through dermatologists had failed. In continuation of my treatments, I just had a facial called "the reset". If you are reading this, stop searching for any other estitichian right now! Pam is a Master Skin Healer. I've been to a few facialist over the years, but I've never experienced someone like Pam. Her room is warm, inviting, meticulously clean and well organized, just like Pam herself. But want really struck me was her knowledge, not only does she have a game plan on how to help you, whether it's your first time seeing her or your fifth, she also explains what you should be doing at home to continue getting the results you want. She explained my skin type and told me what type of product (serum vs toner vs moisturizer) I should use to benefit me. She also listened to my prefereneces.
