Front desk mentioned a deposit was needed and I was happy to pay that, but then she said that I might as well pay the full amount while I'm there. So I paid the full amount for the service. Something came up the next day and it wouldn't have been worth injecting a zit days later. So I called to cancel and am then told they couldn't refund me. I can still come in and get the service done any time, but since it was for a one time acne lesion, I won't really be needing it. Plus I work at a nearby med spa and was only in the area. It would have been nice if someone told me upfront that if I cancelled, my money would be kept. Especially because I understand that being the case for the deposit, but I was encouraged to pay the full amount and all of it was kept. Of course I couldn't dispute the charge because it's in their fine print... A little upfront honesty and clarity would have gone a long way though.

I'm writing this review to warn others about the possible side effects of facial laser treatment…read morebecause I do not feel I was properly informed of the risks beforehand. I had laser treatment performed on my entire face, including around my eyes. After the procedure, I developed severe post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation under both eyes. I was verbally told there was only a possibility of small hyperpigmentation spots, not extensive dark discoloration covering the entire under-eye area. I will admit that I did not thoroughly read all of the paperwork I signed. However, if I had fully understood that this could be a possible outcome, I never would have agreed to the procedure. I now look worse than I did before the treatment, which has been incredibly distressing and the emotional impact of this experience has been far greater than I was prepared for. I returned for follow-up appointments and was repeatedly assured that results can take up to 90 days. Unfortunately, at the 90-day mark, there was still no meaningful improvement. I contacted the spa again via text message, which had been our primary form of communication, and sent photos showing the condition of my eyes after 90 days. I never received a response. I strongly encourage anyone considering this treatment to fully research the potential risks and make sure they clearly understand all possible side effects before proceeding.

However, when I arrived for my appointment, I was surprised to learn there was a $150 consultation fee. This was never mentioned when I booked over the phone. Had I known beforehand, I would have appreciated the opportunity to decide whether I wanted to proceed. I believe patients should be informed of this fee before arriving. I originally scheduled a consultation because I wanted to explore my options for under-eye hollowness, cheek filler, and other treatments. My goal was to gather professional opinions before making a decision, since this is my face and I wanted to compare recommendations from different providers. Before my consultation even began, I was asked how I would be paying. I mentioned that I had about $800 available on my CareCredit account. The doctor immediately responded by asking if I would be using the full $800. That made me uncomfortable because I was only there for a consultation. After already agreeing to pay the $150 consultation fee, I felt pressured to move forward with treatment instead of taking time to think about my options. During the consultation, I explained my concerns and was recommended cheek filler and chin filler for approximately $1,700. When I said I wanted to think about it and possibly seek other consultations, I felt the interaction became somewhat rushed. I eventually agreed to only chin filler and a lip flip. The procedure itself was completed very quickly. When I checked out, my total ended up being around $800, including additional CareCredit fees that I was not expecting. Considering I received one syringe of chin filler and a lip flip, I personally did not feel the results justified the cost. I honestly don't notice much of a difference in my chin, and the lip flip never seemed to take effect. Overall, I left feeling disappointed. I believe consultations should feel informative and pressure-free, and patients should be given time to make decisions without feeling financially committed. I also strongly feel the $150 consultation fee should be clearly disclosed when appointments are booked over the phone. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not return.

I stumbled upon Regenerate skin and decided to call and ask about the treatment. The lady who answered the phone was super nice. If she didn't know the answer to a question, she would text the aesthetician and give me an answer shortly after. All the appointments they had available were in the afternoon and I let them know that I unfortunately worked and was looking for something in the morning. They were able to accommodate easily and said that there was no problem, they could have one of their aestheticians come in a little earlier to help me. My appointment was at 11:30AM. I also made it very clear that I wanted a consultation before the actual treatment. I wanted to make sure that the treatment would not have any negative effects on my skin. I did do a bunch of research and have been told by another dermatologist that this treatment would be good for my skin, but I wanted to make sure. Parking is a little tricky since you have to enter a parking structure and the spaces are very compact. It's inside like a plaza/mall and the name isn't Regenerate. I recognized the inside from Yelp pictures, if it weren't for that I would have walked right past it. I stood for about five to ten minutes before I was helped. One person handed me papers and someone else handed me more papers. Some of them were for the aesthetician to make an assessment on my skin...meaning that she should have been asking me questions and been filling them out. Ex. "Does patient present hyperpigmentation?" You would expect for the aesthetician to take a closer look to see if it is hyperpigmentation or possibly something else. I filled out the forms to the best of my ability and I was taken to the back. I waited another 15 minutes as the aesthetician tried to figure out how to lower the chair. I still somehow went through with the treatment. There was no hospitality or anything from the person doing the treatment. She started without the consultation and just put the machine on my shoulder. She asked if it hurt. I was taken completely by surprise since I was not expecting it. It did not hurt so she continued and it was completely quiet for the hour or so the treatment took. When we were finished, the aesthetician made a face and said that I would definitely need more treatments since one would not work. As I went to pay, I asked to use to the check in offer on yelp, but the person at the front desk was confused. She called two people and said she was not aware of anything at all. They ended up giving me the discount and my total came out to $120. The treatment did help lighten my dark spots, but I did not have the best experience here. The lady who answered the phone was definitely nice, but after that the quality just seemed to deteriorate. I would not come again.

Booking my appointment was easy but the first time was cancelled by the office due to an ill facialist. Illness happens, okay, no worries. The second (rescheduled) visit though, was dismal. Minus Star - First of all, this is NOT a spa. This is a doctor waiting room playing spa muzak. Was horrified that I didn't know this and left my mask in my car. While they did provide me one, no-one at reception was wearing hers of the three visible staff. When one goes for treatment, there are folks chatting in the area just outside the treatment room door. Not relaxing. Minus Star - Second of all, the waiting room was packed. I overheard two ladies complaining to each other that they had been waiting for over an hour. The receptionist told me there wasn't a room yet available. After 25 minutes of waiting I told her I couldn't wait anymore. Ended up being treated within 2 minutes. That made my departure 90 minimum after arrival. Minus Star - The treatment room was not comfortable. I mentioned this to Myra my facialist and she said it was cold but didn't ask if I wanted another blanket or anything else that could make me comfortable. I had to ask for a bolster for under my knees, but what she ended up bringing me was a small pillow, like you'd have on the sofa. Minus a half Star - There were many positives about the facial but big ugh was bright light in my eyes whole time with no eye covering. While there were redeeming qualities about the facial, this was endemic to what felt like a lack of personal attention to the comfort of the client. Minus a half Star - the bathroom in the doctors office was not functioning. If you want to use the restroom, you have to go down the hall. Would have been nice to know this before my treatment.... Again, this is part of the lack of holistic attention to the client. The facial its self was fine. She did a good job getting my skin clean and the oxygen did keep it from running. However, the sunscreen or whatever topical cream she applied before I left made my skin sticky. Came back for my 2nd facial and it was a worse experience. Not as long a wait but aesthetician did not even introduce herself, never told me what she was doing as she was doing it and then when she finished, I asked her where was the oxygen and she said they weren't doing that anymore. What?! TL/dr: Not a spa experience but a okay facial.
