Been using them for almost 20 years. The DOCTORS and Staff are great! but the organization is the worst! ON HOLD for 20 minutes. They burn through doctors. My first Dr. Kara Pepper wonderful after about 10 years she just couldn't take it and quit. Replaced with Dr. Sara French using her for about 7 years and another outstanding Doctor, just got a notice today She is leaving Laureate! I have 2 appointments in June and July . I asked them are they protecting me in the office with other doctors? NO they have no other doctors available and I can choose another office downtown etc. or choose another company. Very disappointed!! I have been a patient for 10 years now . I have never had any Serious health issues and it was going smoothly. I suddenly have some fever and my Bp is shooting to 180 / 101 and other blood works are abnormal and I am getting all the checkups done and today I had fever and throat pain with high BP asked for a walk in since it is emergency and it is a Friday . She is supposed to be my PcP and knows my history . They cooly say go to urgent care - I mean if I did not have other underlying issues I would have gone to urgent care . with all the underlying problems - it so painful to see a doctor who refuses to see a patient who is suffering and has never ever asked for a walk in all these years. read more

A most disturbing experience. After braving Atlanta rush hour traffic for 40 mins to make my appointment on time, an appointment for which I had waited months. I was eventually led to an exam room, told to strip my lower body and put on paper shorts. I sat there for an hour trembling with cold.....the external temperature was 29 degrees! Was I ever offered a blanket? NO! Was I ever offered to reschedule? NO! Eventually I walked out in disgust. Have I ever heard a word, a text, an email, or phone call from Laureate? NO! Lets start by saying that I have no problems with the DR's or the Nurses that I have encountered. My problems all stem from the office, phone and other non medical staff. Recently i received an email stating that Laureate would no longer allow us to use the portal to send our questions/concerns for non emergency items. It would be OUTBOUND Only. We now have to call the nurses line, leave a message and then get a response by email or phone. This took a 30 SECOND task to type an email in my portal and turned it into a 12 MINUTE call that I placed this morning - 3/13/26. Calling in, waiting my turn in que to get to the nurse, giving her all of my information, then my question. She is having to type all of this information down. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MY TIME and the nurses time. Laureate says they care about the patients. Clearly they don't. Working all day then having to use lunch break to make a phone call to the Dr. office that I could have typed in a few seconds is NOT in my best interest! This is Friday, I was told the information won't get to the Dr. until Monday. Probably an answer by Tuesday? The portal system that you were using gave us a response that same day, now I wait 3! Do better Laureate! I've had long wait times for appointments. I've been told they'll call with results then never get a call. I have waited in line for a RX that never got called in. I've seen different office staff every time i go in - lots of new people. New nurses. No one stays. Hmmm...... internal problems I think. Maybe it's time to switch to Piedmont. read more

I had one of the most unprofessional and shocking experiences I have ever encountered at Laureate Medical Group, specifically at the Sandy Springs location. I had an 8:00 a.m. appointment and drove an hour and a half to get there. While on the highway, there was a serious accident and traffic came to a complete standstill. I did exactly what any responsible patient would do -- I called the office to let them know I would be approximately 10-15 minutes late. The person I spoke with was kind, understanding, and thanked me for calling ahead. I arrived exactly 10 minutes late. I had already completed my check-in online the week prior, so all I needed to do was give my name at the front desk. That's when everything went downhill. The receptionist, Tiana, looked up my name and immediately said, "Your appointment was at 8:00. When would you like to reschedule?" There was no greeting, no acknowledgment, no professionalism. I calmly explained that I had called to inform the office I was stuck in traffic due to an accident and had driven an hour and a half to be there. She coldly responded, "You can reschedule or leave. Your appointment has passed." I explained again that I had called and was told it would be fine. She dismissively replied, "You didn't talk to me. You talked to the call center. They have nothing to do with us. You don't have an appointment today." When I asked why the call center answers the same number as the office if they "have nothing to do with" the office, she said, "I don't have an answer for you. Do you want to reschedule or leave?" Her tone was rude, condescending, and completely lacking empathy. This was not my first negative interaction with her. Just last month, when I accompanied my mother to an appointment, she behaved the same way -- rude and dismissive not only to me but to another patient as well. That patient even called her out for her behavior at the time. When I expressed that she was being rude and unprofessional, she replied, "That's your opinion." Instead of attempting to de-escalate the situation, she escalated it by walking away mid-conversation. When things intensified, she involved her supervisor -- who was just as disrespectful and unwilling to listen. The supervisor refused to hear my side and blindly defended the receptionist, even as the receptionist had to be physically held back by a coworker while attempting to escalate the situation further. The fact that a front desk employee had to be restrained from a potential physical altercation in a medical office is beyond alarming. Despite not being the one acting aggressively or unprofessionally, I was told I could not make another appointment and that I needed to leave or be escorted out. The reception area sets the tone for any medical practice. It is the first impression. And my experience at Laureate Medical Group in Sandy Springs was, without question, the worst first impression I have ever had at any medical office. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic courtesy was astounding. I will never return to this practice and will absolutely share my experience with others. Patients deserve respect, especially when they go out of their way to communicate their concerns and make significant efforts to keep their appointments. This office -- specifically the front desk staff and their supervisor -- failed completely in providing even the most basic level of customer service. read more

I have been seeing Dr Bandukwala for years. He is hands down AMAZING! I always feel heard and truly care about. He has made me feel like I am in the best hands always!!! I recently had an issue where I was referred to Dr Luibe as well. He too made me feel heard and seemed to truly be concerned about my concerns. I have nothing but good things to say about these two doctors and greatly appreciate them. The only complaint I have is the scheduling center. They are horrible and incrediblely frustrating. They need to be replaced. I have been at this practice for over 10 years. I was in pain (back of head) when I went to see Dr. Leibu and he checked my hand and knee reflex (never manipulated or touched my neck - other than for me to move it to my right and left) and suggested PT. I was a patient for 8 years but recently the level of patient service has declined. Doctors seem to leave frequently and every time that happens, I'm left without a doctor and forced to wait six months or longer for a new doctor I randomly have to select. Terrible practice in Sandy Springs. Doctor did nothing for me, was not very interested in my symptoms and said I was fine. He spent about 10 minutes with me on my FIRST visit. That was in 2023. Fast forward to January 2024 and I am still being billed for that visit. I paid the bill many months ago and call them every month and yet they still bill me. Will never use this practice again. Thieves. Do not use Laureate for Medicare wellness visit. They are supposed to be free and not part of deductible. Laureate will automatically include a code for regular office visit which is an out of pocket charge If you have not met your deductible for the year. The care Dr Syed Ali (Canton, GA) gave when I visited him for nerve pain in my gums following a root canal was horrendous. Dr Ali told me what the diagnosis was and then followed with a description like this: I think you need an injection in your face. Don't know what the injection is or where to send you for the injection. I repeatedly asked what the injection was and where to get the treatment with him repeating he did not know. All this nonsense and he charged me $503.00! I have no words except to ask how these Dr's get their license to practice medicine? read more

I've been seeing Dr. Mark Friedman since 2007. He was the only one to actually help me stop smoking. His PA was instrumental in getting me checked and seen and through breast cancer. All of he doctors and PAs at Lauteate have been so helpful. I cannot understand the low rating. I'm very pleased with every doctor and PA I have seen there. This place is literally one of the worst / least put together practices I have ever seen. They have zero care for patients well being. I was seeing a doctor here for over 3 years. she left without any communication and I was left with no Dr. and no one who could see me for months. In addition , they were incredibly rude and unhelpful when I called and asked to see a different doctor sooner. I would not go here , I know multiple other people who have left this practice . For simple medication refills they make you come into the office, so they can get an "appt" with insurance , when it is completely unnecessary. I started seeing Dr. Natanel Leibu in Oct 2024, transferring to this doctor after I moved and seeing a previous neurologist for years. I am on two medications for migraines that I spoke to him about on my first visit. I requested refills from him face to face in Oct and Dec at my office visits. I requested refills through the patient portal several times, directly to him and to his nurse. I have called and requested refills through their "medication refill line" twice and spoke to a nurse on the phone about this issue. To date these medications have not been filled and he has never replied to me and I am completely out at this point. This is a poor standard of care. read more

And i did not get any specific outcome other than the fact they were supposed to set me up for an evaluation using a kit. I have been on a medication for 18mos, went for a physical in October, and all was great. The renewal came for a prior authorization for this medication in November. One of the most frustrating doctors offices I have ever worked with. You can't get an appointment even when you are already established. If you don't like your doctor, you have to complete transfer paper work to see a new doctor and your old doctor you didn't like has to approve it...rather than you know, just making a new appointment with someone new - which finding someone you like is like dating, you may have to try several. I can't ever get my medicine refilled on time because it doesn't go straight to the doctor, but rather what seems like fifteen channels beforehand. I have showed up for appointments that were cancelled because the doctor left the practice, with no one updating me on the cancellation. My transfer paperwork just ended with no notification because the new doctor I was trying to switch to left the practice. And when you finally find someone, they make it difficult to make appointments. Everything seems like a third party - scheduling, refills, etc. and I am not sure I have met more than one staff member in office or over the phone who has actually been helpful in the three years I have been there. I keep trying to give it a try because my neurologist is with them and he's outstanding. It's just been frustration after frustration. It sucks that the office experience in person and over the phone is so bad, it's not worth trying to get the care or the quality care from the doctors that seem to have good reviews. read more

This is the worst medical office I have ever encountered ( excluding Kaiser) . My husband went to see Dr Lebui for memory loss and was supposed to be prescribed meds to help with it. That was prescribed on 12/28/23 and as of today 1/7/24 h still doesn't have any meds. The pharmacy said it was never called in by the Dr. I have spoke to his nurse, the front desk ,the on call operators , and left messages for the Dr and Drs on call several times and never heard back. I put a complaint into the office supervisor at Canton location and she did nothing about it. She told me Dr Lebui would call me back. He still has not. I can not get over how unprofessional and neglectful this medical facility is. We are changing Drs out of Laurette . We need good patient care. This has been a nightmare. read more

My rheumatologist retired in July. I scheduled an appointment to see Dr. Sisira Reddy in October. This practice calls me last week to tell me they've canceled my appointment because Dr. Reddy won't be available that day. It is incredibly difficult to get in to see a new rheumatologist. Fortunately, I was able to be scheduled to see their other rheumatologist in time before my medications run out. I am extremely disappointed with this practice. Especially considering the fact that I will now be stuck with this other rheumatologist since they don't allow you to see another one in their practice if you've already seen one. read more

I was evaluated by Dr Natanel Leibu at this group as referred by orthopedist due to post hip nerve complications. The evaluation was in July/2024 and the time taken for this encounter was no more than 12 minutes as a new patient. I had to request to be examined and he did not even bothered to do much of anything despite telling him that I was a physician. The quality of care provided is dismal, the lack of standards to examine new patients is lacking and the communication with the referring doctor has not been made thus far. The cost of the consultation to my insurance $ 663.00 which is outrageous . This is abusive and unethical based on the time and expertise required to provide a very limited exam and opinion. I am an Internist and find this behavior abhorrent. Practices such as this should be investigated and corrected by Medicare and private insurances. read more

Dr. Sirsira Reedy, Rheumatologist at the Laureate Medical Group is the most unresponsive doctors I have ever met. When you call in and ask a question about anything relating to your health, I never get a response. When you are there for a visit, she never touches you, only asking a few questions and leaves. DR. AMY FALLEN MD IM....FANTASTIC PHYSICIAN!!! This was my first visit with Dr. Fallen. I need a new primary care IM MD because my last one moved. Wonderful personality. I was shocked to learn that she knew EVERYTHING about my medical history and I mean EVERYTHING. She had done her homework...reviewing my medications, past labs, CTs, MRIs, surgeries, specialty MD visits and all the accompanying physician notes. I thought I would be there long time giving her a medical history but NOPE...she already knew!!! You gotta love it when a physician asks "What can I do for you?"
