There are 3 main programmes: Inner Engineering is an incredibly joyful and profound entry into Yoga. It blends Hatha and Kriya Yoga beautifully. Bhava Spandana is a deep exploration of one's emotions and drives great acceptance of oneself and others. I felt more emotionally available to myself and the people around me after this. Shoonya is an incredibly powerful yoga practice and meditation that give one tremendous stillness and intensity. They also offer classical Hatha Yoga (Surya Kriya, Angamardhana, and Yogasanas) all of which foster great physical and mental balance. This is most comparable to online and studio yoga, and is phenomenally taught. Outside of tentpole programmes, all taught by trained Isha teachers, we have more accessible offerings like Free Yoga Day once a month, where you can come and explore the space, do some yoga, and inquire about what is best for you The Foundation and center are non-religious. People of all faiths are welcome and there is a holistic sense of well-being. Everyone is kind, non-judgemental, and inclusive. I feel blessed that a Center is now open in the LA area.

I met Tracy years ago when she helped me with a particularly difficult family situation. I made some last minute add-ons to the initial order and Lotus home was incredibly accomodating. Jana and her team work tirelessly to ensure a most zen and pampering experience. Couples massage: Jen and Jade were beyond professional and relatable. They first sat us down and asked if we'd had massages before, if there were any spots they should avoid or focus on. We had an actual conversation prior to the treatment and their delivery was spot on. I so appreciate how Jen and Jade allowed us to enjoy our massage in silence. And every so often, when I had a comment, they chimed in and laughed with my honey and I! Then back to silent enjoyment. Through the entire massage, I felt they were very present, engaging, professional, and kind. Couples facial: Amanda and Tamara were so knowledgeable and skilled in their craft! Every question that my sweetheart and I had regarding skincare, Amanda and Tamara answered. Personally, it can be a jarring experience for me, having someone work so closely to my face. But Tamara's energy was inviting and safe and she was so gentle! After the facial, Amanda and Tamara checked in with how my sweetheart and I were feeling and gave us privacy to slowly get ready for our next experience. Pool/Hot tub: Is there truly a better way to end the day than to soak in a hot tub with palm trees and cabanas? I think not. Part of the deal was a beverage tray and floating food tray. First, Jana knew that my sweetheart and I don't drink alcohol, so Jana prepared non-alcoholic champagne! This was a special treat for us, as normally, we simply deny the alcohol and swallow the cost (that's already included in the deal). It was incredibly thoughtful of Jana to have something else prepared for us to enjoy. Along with the non-alcoholic champagne, she prepared clarifying mint tea, coffee, and sparkling mineral water. So refreshing as we floated in bliss. Then came the food tray. Oh. My. Droooooool. Tiramisu birthday cake, the biggest raspberry macaron, a quarter pineapple artfully displayed in the shell, crisp green grapes, literally the best turkey/bacon sandwich, and a delectable grilled chicken salad. Y'all, literally every single bite was top-tier. To top off the surprise, turns out Jana is the masterchef behind this amazing spread! I saw that there was this event in LA through Soul and Sound that had Jennifer plus her students scheduled to bless us with sound healing. When all of the sound healing practitioners share their background, I was an odd to hear that some of them were registered. Nurses were in different intersections that led them down this creative path of sound healing. Before this, I would always drive over an hour to Orange County for sound baths and rarely found any sound baths facilitated and created by women of color. Jennifer and her students played a beautiful sound bath for us all in this high acoustics warehouse and I was absolutely taken away. I then continued to follow her business online for 3.5 years and waited to see her next classes that she would offered. I saw she offered breathe work classes, as well as sound healing. I ended up registering for Sound Bowl Healing. I signed up first last year but life was " life-ing " and I couldn't attend. Then this year I was able to join in the spring. I had a lot going on, but I still felt very included and welcomed. Honestly, Jenifer was very patient and gracious with me to allow me to attend and participate. I love how she's stressed the vital importance of us as new sound bowl practitioners, to continue to do our inner work and encourage us to never stop reflecting, and never stop healing. I came out of the certification program with so much confidence and access to so many resources to help me on my journey to be a successful sound meditation facilitator. Only 3 months in and I am already facilitating corporate wellness events with over 100 people as well as hosting events in my own community in Oxnard, CA. I came here in late September for a soundbath experience to celebrate a friend's birthday. I was…read morevaguely familiar of what soundbaths were like, and it was truly a restorative experience! It takes place in a private residence in the Malibu so you're not given the address until a few days before your scheduled appointment. Kirscha and Luca were very nice and welcoming; they led us to the area where they conducted the soundbath and it was spacious, clean, and I felt very comfortable. Rather than give everything away about the experience, I will say this: it was truly relaxing! I wasn't sure what to expect; there were areas where they didn't physically touch me, but I felt tenderness in the area the next day (the vibrations from the soundbath affect tense areas in the body). After it was over, I felt very mellow and at ease. In terms of price, I would say this one is on the higher end, but your experience is worth it as you look at the view- the expanse of the ocean, the crisp fresh ocean breeze, I really had a lovely time.

There were classes where I was sweaty and challenged and others that felt more restorative. I made a point of taking classes with 6 different teachers and honestly they were all great. There's a wide variety of classes here, and therefore a wide variety of students. It's pretty convenient but in the beginning it feels like it isn't and feel like you'll get a citation but so far it's been fine.
