We decided to do a very expensive chelating test that included collecting urine for 24 hrs. While I was doing the collection I had a question because I didn't have one of the components listed on the directions. I called her office to ask for clarification. I explained the directions called for something I didn't have and without missing a beat, she said, "I don't have time to talk to you." and hung up. She never called back, never followed up, never apologized for her gruffness and I wasted money I didn't have to waste. I was hurt that her persona is a put-on to get you to buy her supplements and treatments. It felt like a slap in the face. I never went back and could never recommend.

I tried many different plans and found Weight Watchers helpful once or twice, losing 10-15 pounds. I could never get below a BMI of 28.7 which is classified as overweight and unhealthy. I had high blood pressure, sleep apnea, low energy, painful joints and was several points away from receiving the diagnosis of Diabetes. After approximately 15 years of "dieting" without sustained results, I was thrilled to learn of the new weight loss medications. I did my research and joined the practice of Cara Fleming, NP and am delighted with my results. I feel energized (recently joined the YMCA with weight training) and no longer take any medications for high blood pressure. My sleep apnea has improved and my joints are happier. Additionally, my hemoglobin A1c (used to monitor Diabetes) is 4.7 which is amazing. I have had the pleasure of meeting both Cara, NP and Deirdre, NP for my visits. They offer the option of virtual visits. Easy! They are both professional NPs who have years of experience caring for acutely ill patients; making decisions under highly stressful conditions. They now work on preventing the illnesses that brought their ICU patients to the hospital. Both shared their weight loss journeys and understand the problems that obese people face. Their practice is truly a judgment free zone, focused on sustainable, positive change. As a fellow NP, I am very pleased with my experience. I am able to have a virtual visit when I can't visit the office. Cara and Deirdre ask the appropriate medical questions re: diet, exercise and how I am tolerating the tirzepatide. They advise on how to address any side effects and I know their recommendations are based on current evidence and best practices which are very important to me. I can't recommend them enough, to anyone looking for help getting healthier.
